I was at my last school for 4 years and we had ********* book fairs every term – and every term, I was disappointed by the narrow range of books. I was challenged by a group of children at school to find a book that met all their interests, so with, mermaids, dinosaur and unicorn among the topic, this book seemed a good choice. The narwhal tusk—most commonly found on males—is actually an enlarged tooth with sensory capability and up to 10 million nerve endings inside. In the final chapter, Jelly is confused when he finds his friend reading an ‘imagination book’, as all the pages are blank.Bantering dialogue entertains throughout, but the book’s best moment might belong to the third story, when Narwhal lends Jelly his “favourite book in the whole wide water, which is blank…“.
