About this deal

I was at my last school for 4 years and we had ********* book fairs every term – and every term, I was disappointed by the narrow range of books. We document the paths of narwhals during their annual feeding and reproductive routines to better understand the species. It’s a fantastic independent book seller that will actually be responsive and select appropriate books for you. Furthermore, Ben Clanton includes facts and mini stories within this title and the other books that follow in this satisfying series, including Su per Narwhal and Jelly Jolt and Narwhal’s Otter Friend .

Narwhal is a happy-go-lucky sea creature, whose amazing horn-like tooth on his forehead earns him the nickname "unicorn of the sea". A wonderfully silly early graphic novel series featuring three short stories and a super fun ocean fact page – and joke page too! In one of the mini tales, Narwhal invites a variety of creatures to join his pod but is oblivious to Jelly’s increasing annoyance at feeling excluded from the group. This experience has been fantastic primarily for the children, the school and also for me (professionally).Yesterday a parent came over to tell me how impressed she was by the book fair and that you did a fabulous job of selling the books to the children first. The perfect first book for young 5 year-old, 6 year-old, 7 year old and 8 year-old readers looking for funny, high interest books that are an accessible read, where they'll discover the joys of friendship, working together and the power of imagination. Ben Clanton is the author and illustrator of the bestselling NARWHAL AND JELLY early graphic novel series as well as TATER TALES, IT CAME IN THE MAIL, VOTE FOR ME! Ebooks fulfilled through Glose cannot be printed, downloaded as PDF, or read in other digital readers (like Kindle or Nook).

WWF helps raise awareness of and address the threat of noise pollution on narwhals and other whales. Bronnie is so lovely with the boys and we also felt that having a man enthusing about the books set a great example. Themes of friendship, loyalty and bravery blend with fascinating Welsh legends to create a humorous chapter book with entertaining illustrations. The perfect first book for young readers, just moving on from picture books, discovering the joys of friendship, working together and the power of imagination. Narwhal explains that Jelly can use his powers of invention to create the most amazing stories in the universe.

I was challenged by a group of children at school to find a book that met all their interests, so with, mermaids, dinosaur and unicorn among the topic, this book seemed a good choice. The narwhal tusk—most commonly found on males—is actually an enlarged tooth with sensory capability and up to 10 million nerve endings inside. In the final chapter, Jelly is confused when he finds his friend reading an ‘imagination book’, as all the pages are blank.Bantering dialogue entertains throughout, but the book’s best moment might belong to the third story, when Narwhal lends Jelly his “favourite book in the whole wide water, which is blank…“. For all ebook purchases, you will be prompted to create an account or login with your existing HarperCollins username and password. You guys were so fab and Dawn was such a lovely presence in the schools - I will absolutely be in touch next time I'm in your neck of the woods.
