My initial findings were reinforced; the tent vents fairly well (and dries quickly when it doesn’t). We expect to start reverting to global logistics in Sep 2022 and we are actively working towards this. This sub is about overnight backcountry backpacking, with a focus on moving efficiently, packing light, generally aiming at a sub 10 pound base weight, and following LNT principles. Tent fly and bottom tent are used 20D nylon silicone coating fabric, waterproof index is 4000mm, very waterproof and durable. None of these points are a deal breaker in our opinion, and as mentioned previously they are certainly all design decisions that help keep the weight of the tent down, but none the less the tent does not feel as well thought out as some of the other (admittedly more expensive) alternatives.

Im looking for a 3-season tent that goes well when camping alone and going on smaller hikes (10-15km). I seriously considered a few different options before pulling the trigger here, and almost ended up with a small backpacking setup from The North Face. Even when your tent appears to be dry after use, it is always best to assure it is completely dry before storing. The weight and packed size are very appealing; the build quality looks good and its great value too.
Cope with changeable weather: Made of lightweight and wearable 20D nylon silicone material (210T polyester plaid fabric material) as well as waterproof coating and waterproof about 4000+ (210T polyester plaid fabric can reach 3000 +), making it good enough to meet your rain-proof need while camping. After the structure is erect it can be moved around easily like a freestanding, but the rear corners need pegging out else the inside tail of the tents sags. Thanks to the innovative design to attach the inner tent sheet, the ceiling of the tent inside looks more wide than you would assume from seeing it outside. In terms of weather resistance, this will add a little more insulation and will also help protect the floor of the tent from rips and tears, which in turn will help keep out leaks.
