I especially love spicy carnation and this is probably the best Carnation scent outside of the Niche market. admittedly a rather washed out carnation, more sweet than pungent and aggressive, surrounded by an equally demure clove. Something about the spicy, clove-like powderiness of the carnations registers to my nose as "you can eat this" but this is far from sweet, and far from gourmand. Despite it containing a strong note of aldehydes, it can never be mistaken for any of the other greats, no. Best paired with a white eyelet nightgown and sleeping with a bar of Ivory soap under your pillow so that you have squeaky-clean dreams.
