About this deal

This is the sleep system I’m currently using and I’ve had no problems with it so far. Okay, it’s not the most comfortable bedchair but I’ve done over 100 nights on it without too many aches and pains. The one thing to take into consideration is that the zip-in duvet and bottom mattress are rather thin. This is great for summer but I have needed an extra bag inside for spring and autumn. I've got the Trakker Oval V2 sleep system and find it more restrictive than my old Fox Mk2 flatlighter. I'm only 5ft 9 11 stone so given your height and weight I would definitely discount the Trakker as it would be too small in my opinion. I take it that your mate has the standard solar bedchair rather than the wide version. I'm pretty sure my trakker sleeping bag is the 365 (it's about 20 years old now so must be one of the original ones but boy is it comfy). I'll probably just get the bedchair then but will need to take my sleeping bag with me to make sure it fits on the solar before I buy it. This isn’t a full sleep system however fitted sleeping bags from Fox are available in both three and five-season options. You’ll find these for sale separately but you’ll also occasionally find the bedchair and a sleeping bag as part of a discounted bundle.

This is a durable bedchair for the angler that wants to stay mobile. It’s also a fantastic option for the angler that wants comfort. You’re not going to get the same luxurious levels of comfort as the Indulgence range, but coming in at almost 10kg less, this it’s a no-brainer in my eyes. Of course, this basic sleep system is nowhere near as comfortable as the bedchairs in their Indulgence range but it definitely does the job. If you’re the holiday-style angler that likes to set up and stay in one swim, you may favour comfort over portability. If this is the case you may opt for a heavier more cumbersome bedchair such as the Nash Indulgence because you don’t need to move it around much. You may as well have the pinnacle of luxury if you’re staying in one place! A true, flat sleeping position with our unique ultimate lumber support system eliminates sagging, providing the ultimate in luxuary and comfort. This is the big-boy version of the SP sleep system with an extra 15cm width. It comprises the SP Wide Bedchair complete with Solar 4-season sleeping bag and waterproof, Rip-Stop bedchair cover to provide a complete sleep system.

The bed comes complete with a fleece-lined mattress and a four-season duvet. It has adjustable elastic to control the firmness of the bed to your liking and a fleece-lined mattress cover that can be machine-washed. This allows you to keep your footwear on without worrying about cleaning issues. The term sleep system refers to a bedchair that has an integrated duvet/ sleeping bag that keeps you warm and protected through the night. The Nash Scope Ops 4 Sleep System’s compact transport size and light weight (12.4kg all-in) definitely steal the show. However, there’s a lot more to this sleep system than portability. If you’re more of a mobile angler that likes to stay light and move onto showing fish, a lightweight and easily transportable bedchair will suit you better. Sleep systems such as the Nash Scope Ops 4or the cheaper Nash Dwarf 4 systems are great options for the roving carp angler. D) Are Carp Fishing Bedchairs Expensive? Marley enjoying the Nash Sleep System The Nash Scope Ops 4 Sleep System has been designed for the angler that wants to stay mobile. It has a four-fold design and comes with a heavy-duty carry strap to make carrying the system down the trails to forgotten swims easier. Thanks for the heads up on the Trakker Oval. I used to have the old Fox 5 season sleeping bag which was tapered at the foot end and whilst excellent for warmth, it was a complete bitch to get in and out of (especially with size 12 feet). I've still got the old Trakker 5 season sleeping bag with the detachable fleece inner (which I'm giving my eldest with my Fox Recliner beg chair) and as it's not tapered like the mummy style sleeping bags it's probably the best sleeping bag I've ever had. The only downside is, of course, the limited wiggle room at the head and foot of the bed. If this is something you can live with, you’ll get on well with the Trakker Levelite system.
