I wasn’t overly impressed with Promises We Meant To Keep. I struggled to finish that book. While it was good, it just wasn’t for me. I did love the first two books though. In my opinion, she is the best Lancaster sibling. I absolutely adored her character, God. It was incredibly refreshing to read about a strong and grumpy female main character who had the hero constantly chasing after her. 🤭 I live for her attitude. She was sassy, smart, and a genius. I loved how she never took any nonsense from anyone and always stood her ground. She was a badass. She is a ballet dancer and lived the last 6 years of her life in London. Her character had a lot of depth, and it was heartbreaking to see her constantly plagued by insecurities and being used by others because of her family name. She was secretive, mistrustful of others, and carried her own insecurities and secrets. 🙂
