Rachel did a fantastic job with them because I love how each guy is so different, and I can't wait to see more of their personalities unfold and how their connection evolves with Scarlett as the series continues. There is still so much mystery behind the school and secrets held in the tunnels, I can’t wait to find out! Scarlett is forced to attend Boulder Cove Academy after one too many instances of expulsion in public schooling. Readers who love bully books (but don't feel like they need heavy dub-con/I personally felt the triggers in this particular enemies to lovers/bully type book are quite tame).

When Scarlet gets to the Academy, not only is she forced to play these crazy games, but there is someone else out there sending her notes and recordings and always popping up in a black robe.

The plot line was a slow burn in which very little occurred other than the repetitive, back and forth interactions between the heroine and heroes. I don't kow anything about the society and honestly I just don't care at this point, the stalker "mystey" is not enough to make me want to read the second book. They may be the Lawless, but Scarlett doesn’t always follow rules and won’t easily bow down to these guys. Unfortunately, one too many school suspensions has catapulted me into the world I swore I’d never live in.If you love a little darkness and suspense with your romance I highly recommend giving this series a go!

I was apprehensive during the first portion of Savage Games thinking that many elements are so similar to other enemies to lovers/bully themed books, and yet by the half way point I was so far over that worry due to the simple fact that this plot and the depth of the characters are well written to the point of feeling absolutely original. The story featured three hot heroes, from the lead and biggest jerk, a broody Neo, to mixed feelings and mildly aggressive Crew, to playful but equally united Jagger.
