About this deal

Ibn Yoonus said: al-Tahhaawi was trustworthy, sincere, a faqeeh and a man of wisdom, and after him there was no one else like him. This is the summary of what is needed by those who have enlightened hearts among the allies of Allah Almighty. It is the degree of those rooted in knowledge, for knowledge in the creation is of two types: accessible knowledge and inaccessible knowledge. To deny accessible knowledge is unbelief, and to claim to know what is inaccessible is unbelief. [60] Faith is only affirmed by accepting accessible knowledge and abandoning pursuit of inaccessible knowledge. [61] We say that Allah has taken Abraham, upon him be peace, as an intimate friend [72] and that He spoke directly to Moses, faithfully, truthfully, and in surrender to Allah. [73]

Aqeedatul Tahawi, with commentary by Qari Muhammad Tayyib, the former rector of Darul Uloom Deoband. English translation by Afzal Hoosen Elias. First published in 2007 by Zam Zam Publishers. [16] Cornell, Vincent J. (1 Dec 2006), Voices of Islam: Voices of tradition, Praeger, ASIN 0275987329 {{ citation}}: CS1 maint: location missing publisher ( link) Those of the Ummah of Muhammad, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, who have committed grave sins will be in the Fire, but not forever, provided they die and meet Allah as believers affirming His unity even if they have not repented. They are subject to His will and judgement. If He wants, He will forgive them and pardon them out of His generosity, as is mentionied in the Qur'an when He says: 'And He forgives anything less than that (shirk) to whoever He wills' (al-Nisa' 4: 116); and if He wants, He will punish them in the Fire out of His justice and then bring them out of the Fire through His mercy, and for the intercession of those who were obedient to Him, and send them to the Garden. This is because Allah is the Protector of those who recognize Him and will not treat them in the Next World in the same way as He treats those who deny Him and who are bereft of His guidance and have failed to obtain His protection. O Allah, You are the Protector of Islam and its people; make us firm in Islam until the day we meet You.We do not enter into vain talk about Allah nor do we allow any dispute about the religion Of Allah. The author restricted himself to what is required by a student, very rarely adding more than this, making it the most beneficial commentary for students. I highly recommend Ghaznawi’s Sharh, which could be taught in full in place of the matn, instead of just being used by the teacher during his mutala’ah. The book was printed ages ago in Qazan, Russia and was extremly rare. I managed to get a copy from Maktabah al-Azhar. This edition was based on the authors draft copy (musawwadah) and is thus shorter than his final copy. CD 5: Knowledge of the unseen; Magic & fortune-telling; Sacrifices; Rulings of statues & symbols of remembrance Everything that occurs is according to His decree and will. His will is always accomplished. The will of the servants is only what He wills for them. Whatever He wills for them comes to be, and whatever He does not will for them does not come to be. [20]

Anyone who speaks well of the Companions of the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, and his wives and offspring, who are all pure and untainted by any impurity, is free from the accusation of hypocrisy. Oliver Leaman, ed. (2015). The Biographical Encyclopedia of Islamic Philosophy. Bloomsbury Publishing. p.475. ISBN 9781472569455. Printed by his publishing house Dar al-Mashari’ with the last edition with additions probably being the 2007 one. Dar al-Mashari’ also printed a concise rendering of this commentary entitled Mukhtasar Izhar al-Aqidah as-Sunniyah in addition to another one entitled Ad-Durrah al-Bahiyyah fi Hall al-Alfaz at-Tahawiyyah. For whoever wishes to know what is forbidden and is not satisfied with surrender, his understanding will be veiled from pure monotheism, gnosis, and sound faith. [42]The Biography of Ahmad Jabir Jubran]. islamsyria.com (in Arabic). Association of Syrian Scholars. Archived from the original on 17 Mar 2023. This is because He has power over all things and all things are in need of Him. [13] Every matter is easy for Him. He has no need of anything, for ‘there is nothing like unto Him, and He is the Hearing, the Seeing.’ [14] The Qur'an is the word of Allah. It came from Him as speech without it being possible to say how. He sent it down on His Messenger as revelation.
