About this deal

The Mooer Micro Range of pedals consists of everything from overdrive and distortion to delay, reverb, chorus, boost and other modulation pedals. If you can think it, you can find it. This includes the GE100 and GE200 Multi-Effects units. On paper, the Ditto+ serves both purposes in one unit, and as such that added versatility still serves a potent hook for those searching for an all-in-one option. This again has that smart 'Auto Record' feature which is also found on the Mini. I use my Ditto+ a lot for when testing out new pedals - and I feel the Auto Record could make the smaller Mooer here a new favourite of mine for that particularly purpose!

Mooer also produce Mini guitar amps like the Little Monster 5w Tube Amp which is a tiny lunchbox head that’ll turn into a roaring beast when plugged into a 2x12 or even 4x12 cab! If you have a working knowledge of guitar pedals throughout the years then you’ll quite easily see the similarities between Mooer pedals and their more expensive counterparts that they might have been based on such as the Ninety Orange Phaser and Green Mile Overdrive. Stop/Delete/Redo, all these functions are controlled by just one footswitch. 8.Loop saving function

Mooer Candy

As for how this compares with the Ditto, TC Electronic’s best-selling stompbox is a one-size-fits-all unit, with one Level control and up to five minutes of looping time for that one slot. This also means you can record by plugging directly into the interface and get a great direct guitar sound and use your other effects pedals in front of the preamp as if it were a normal guitar amp. All of the preamp pedals in the range have been modelled after famous guitar sounds to give you access to those great tones at a fraction of the cost. Pedals like the UK Gold 900 and Brown Sound 3 will probably give you an idea of the sounds you can expect. In addition to its extensive rhythm library, the Micro Drummer II includes two different EQ presets to adapt to different playing situations. Whether recording in a studio or playing live on stage, users can customize their drum sound to suit their needs. I own about a dozen Mini Mooers of various stripes - and each of them does a fantastic job, while to date I only have one of the X2 Series - or namely the X2 Model X Preamp - which rounds up a load of Mooer’s Micro Preamps into a single enclosure - and those presets / algorithms mostly sound very analog in style with no noticeable hard or brittle Digital artefacts - some require some finesses on the dial in - but nearly all those varieties can sound pretty spectacular. The Pro Series is less easily defined but the range includes mini Wah pedals, The new Pedal Controller and the Twin Series pedals.

This little knob can control the volumn of loop. Can’t hear your SOLO? Turn down your volumn a little bit! There are also a few additional controls for greater loop control, including Level and Threshold. Level does exactly what you’d expect, while Threshold works in tandem with the Auto Rec mode that starts looping as soon as a signal level is detected. Size wise the Micro Looper is going to win a few friends. And whilst there are other similar sized pedals on the market, the 30 minutes recording time and unlimited overdubbing stretches the possibilities quite considerably. Whilst more complex pedals with added functionality and foot control options will suit some, it’s great to see companies such as Mooer also see the use for more straight ahead units that are intuitive and still user friendly. With a looper this size and price it’s an easy option to slot into a board (even if real estate is tight) for some extra vibes when needed, or just throw it in your gig bag to grab when inspiration calls. This is Mooer's first standalone drum machine pedal as part of the ever-growing X2 lineup of enhanced classics. The Drummer X2 is a powerful practice and live performance tool that provides players with a fully customizable groove station featuring 121 different drum grooves, 11 song banks, and a full array of EQ and parameter adjustments that can be made on the fly.

Noise Killer

The Looper X2 is the culmination of over a decade of experience - developing easy-to-use standalone and combination pedals. The Looper X2 supercharges practice sessions as well as live performances by empowering the player to start jamming as soon as possible.

The Boss RC-1 Loop Station is the simplest of the range. It is designed to be the most user-friendly for those of us who don’t want to read instruction manuals. It is easy to make a mistake when using a looper live; with an overly complicated pedal it is easy to forget whether you have disengaged the integral buffering linear wingwam before engaging the secondary memory bank of immortal doom…. Sometimes one button really is the best. Obviously the larger pedals give you stereo output and considerably more features and options - while the Mini / Micro editions are still formidable and potent in their own right. The new style of Mini Pedal legends gives those pedals a more imposing look. And it’s not often you get Mini and Compact versions of the same effects all being launched / released at around the same time. One of the buskers’ favorites, to be found upon many pedalboards. Boss offer their looping pedal range in a variety of configurations, from their modest but feature-rich RC-1 to their RC-500, the mothership of all looping pedals. The Digitech Jamman Stereo Lopo Pedal is feature-rich. It allows you to store over 35 minutes of stereo loops into 99 internal memory slots. You can extend its capacity with an SDHC card up to 16 hours, in an additional 99 memory slots. It has an easy computer connection via its integrated usb port, as well as an AUX-in port so you can connect an mp3 player.Seemingly to cater to those wanting both a looper and a drum generator, Mooer has also released the Micro Drummer II. Offering 48 grooves across eight different rhythm types and six music genres, the playing companion also offers Fill and Tap Tempo functions for greater rhythmic experimentation, as well as two EQ presets for different situations. Inherit the Mini size of the MICRO SERIES pedals, your pedal board can have more space and therefore you can put more pedals in it. But for those concerned solely with looping, it might just be a tad too much, and it’s here that we imagine the Micro Looper II could really make a name for itself.

Whatever the case, the micro looper market is most definitely hotting up, and with pedalboard real estate becoming an increasingly valuable asset, the more mini looper pedals to choose from the better. Controls - Structure / Parts x 7 : Intro / Verse / Middle / Chorus / Bridge / Inter / Outro, Fade : Off > 55 > 10s, Threshold : Auto Off > -24dB > -6dB, Play : Infinite > 0dB > +6dB, Rec : Infinite > 0dB > +6dB, Save Button, Song 1-11, Rec / Play / Dub Footswitch, Stop / Clear Footswitch, Press Both for Mode. Pedalboards took a departure from bigger sized pedals in recent years and companies like Mooer have fully taken advantage of that by creating a pedal for pretty much every effect you can think of… Worry about losing your recordings after you cut off power? No need to worry, MICRO LOOPER will save all the loop recordings data automatically when the power is off. You will never lose your inspiration! With its AUTO REC function, the Micro Looper II automatically starts recording as soon as an input signal is detected, making it easy to capture spontaneous musical ideas without having to press any buttons. When Micro Looper is in the Bypass status, it would not affect the original signal, which ensures your signal to be clear and lossless. I’m a big fan of both Mooer’s Micro / Mini and X2 series, while I think NUX has stolen a march with its Mini TRS Stereo pedals - that Mooer has yet to answer. Mooer is still though the archetypal Mini Pedals Brand - with so many great examples in that diminutive format - including fantastic gain, modulation and utility pedals - and the formidable Micro Preamp Series. The Micro Looper II is a powerful and compact loop pedal that provides an impressive 480 minutes of recording time spread across three Banks.
