The love of the stage was running through the veins of Mandasue Heller and this went along through her adulthood also. I had read the synopsis and was looking forward to getting stuck into another gritty crime book and I wasn’t disappointed! The ending of the book is very good and happy and people became fond of this novel because Mandasue Heller gave a realistic story of the Hulme Crescent. I found myself shaking my head and wanting to sit Chantelle down and have a chat with her many times. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.Yes there is violence, sex and all the usual we have come to expect and love from Heller however this one has very strong focus on family and loyalty which I really loved. I really enjoyed this, 5/5 for me this time and you only have to wait until the end of the month before you can get your hands on a copy.
