About this deal

As my son got older he started to wriggle a lot more so when he did this I had to start again put it straight under his bum again it was a nightmare, these was so much easier. As I’m on maternity leave we're always looking for ways to save money so these nappies are great. I would definitely choose mamia nappies over other leading brands as the value for money is incredible. Although they are a fraction of the price of other brands the quality is amazing, so far there haven't been any leaks when my little boy has been wearing these nappies. These nappies are so affordable compared to other more expensive leading brands. People normally say the more expensive the product the better the quality but this is definitely not the case with these nappies. They do not leak and are very absorbent. I have used more expensive brands which leak and are not just a good fit. These also have cutest little design and the blue line on the front makes it easy to know when to change the nappy. Both brands promise up to 12 hours of dryness meaning your baby’s bum and nappy should be nice and dry after a full night. We usually use Aldi’s Mamia and have never ever had a wee leak with them. We use them overnight for 12 hours and have never had a problem. Mamia nappies live up to their promise and really do offer 12 hours of dryness. The nappy feels dry and my daughter’s bum is dry and rash free after 12 hours in a Mamia nappy. Would you consider changing from your current brand of nappies to Aldi Mamia and why? Yes I would as it is worth the change and price.

I would certainly recommend the Aldi Mamia nappies to my friends and fellow mums as they are so affordable and excellent quality. They are designed well and have exceeded my expectations of a good quality nappy. They are easy to use and very absorbent for those longer periods of time during the night and my little one never seemed uncomfortable.

Tested by mum Katie Roast for the Mother & Baby awards 2018:

Our go-to nappies are Mamia from Aldi. They’re cheap and they don’t smell when they are full of wee, which I’ve found other nappies tend to do. They don’t leave my baby with a sore bottom - and I’ve been using since birth! If your baby suffers from leakage, it’s time to go up a size. They’re absolutely amazing value for money. I’m now onto nappy pants and they are fab too! I highly recommend them.” I would when we came to potty training, due to the price, but they might be too small by that stage The huggies car patterned ones as my little one likes to feel older than his brother who is in baby nappies

The Mamia nappy range makes my life so much easier as a mum because I can have piece of mind that my children are wearing a nappy that contains all of their business. It also means I'm not being woken in the night by an upset little one whose nappy has leaked and therefore reducing my washing load which is a life saver. Would you consider changing from your current brand of nappies to Aldi Mamia and why? I already use Mamia nappies The award-winning Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ Nappies provide your baby up to 12 hours day & night protection. These feature Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ technology which provides fast absorption, distributes liquid evenly and helps prevent sagging. They are soft & breathable for your baby's soft skin. A slim design allows free movement, and the resealable fasteners and super stretchy sides ensure a snug and secure fit. Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ Nappies are dermatologically accredited by the Skin Health Alliance for added peace of mind. They contain 0%* perfume and are lotion free* and latex** free. I would choose this product as it is cost effective and great quality. Due to being very absorbable my baby has not experienced any nappy rash which for makes this product 10/10. Other brands I have used leaked and needed changing more often making them quite expensive. The biggest thing that stands out is they are inexpensive and great quality. Couldn't ask for more from nappies. This product absolutely makes my life easier as a mum. Not only does it save my family money, it takes the guess work out of purchasing nappies. I used to try and find nappies on sale in large shops like Tesco or Asda, but ended up wasting time and money, and buying inferior products. With Mamia nappies, I know that I’m getting great quality at a great price. I can shop for my food and ALL baby products at Aldi – that to me makes my life so much easier!

At a glance:

With having a newborn breast fed baby I can go through about 10 nappies a day. Due to the great quality of the nappy I don't need to change this as often. I have no leaking , the absorbency is great especially next to other brands which leaked. Another great thing is this product is relatively inexpsive so makes the affordability of these nappies perfect for me and my baby. Ease of pulling on and off, especially if its putting nappy pants on a toddler who is potty training and who has fallen asleep These nappies are the definition of value for money. As a new mother and a new resident in the UK, one easily gets caught up in the lifestyle of expensive prams, car seats, and cots – it’s so hard to know what to believe, so to come across an item that will not break the bank and is excellent quality is rare. These nappies are worth their weight in gold. The price is so accessible for parents compared to other brands on the market and they offer the best absorbency and comfort for both our boys.

They are easy to pull up and my child can do it themselves. The nappy is easy to remove with the tear away sides. What brands of nappy pants do you currently use most often? If you use Mamia, what other brands do you use? Asda They are thin so don't take up lots of room in a drawer like some other brands of nappy pants. My son also found them comfy and soft and didn't immediately cry to have them taken off

What changes would you make to this product?

Lidl also sells a premium range which the discount supermarket claims offers advanced comfort, fit and flexibility. These nappies come in sizes one to five.
