About this deal

Aixa Perez-Prado has gifted us with a rhythmic story of a child's-eye view of feet on a city street.

This is such a fun story with many different legs, different people, different languages and different stories. I loved the entire process of illustrating and absolutely adored my super talented and lovely art director Katya Schultz. City Feet Clinic has some of Sydney’s leading podiatry experts with a large number of happy clients and a high referral rate. Because I had lots of ideas for the illustration of this story, my agent suggested that I make a dummy to send to the editor. So, when I go to the trip and it rains, should I wear my dress shoes in the rain, or should I wear my boots in the rain?City feet offers an online listing platform for commercial real estate for lease and sale, where commercial real estate brokers, agents and commercial real estate property owners connect to close deals. The main character in this story is a baby that is observing the multitude of interesting and curious legs and feet that are moving in all sorts of ways through the city.

I loved the addition of different languages and the unique perspective of exploring a city and its people from just their feet. After the reading, Carlton prompts viewers to consider what type of shoes are appropriate for varied occasions and environments.Kids will love reading this book over and over and discovering new things they may have missed before. Segments focus on stories, reading and writing skills, math, science, social studies, the arts, and social-emotional learning.

With over 6 million of the world’s best eBooks to choose from, Kobo offers you a whole world of reading. But since she has not yet been officially, announced, I think I have to keep it to myself for now…stay tuned! Aixa Pérez-Prado is a storyteller, artist, and university professor who loves wandering through cities and countries all over the world with her boots on. Besides the kid height view of the city, this playful celebration engages the five senses, includes diversity, and introduces children to how to say good morning and good afternoon in four languages.

With bouncy, upbeat rhymes and colorful, imaginative illustrations kids will want to jump up and move their feet to their own beat. As a parent who always reads children’s books before reading to my daughter, I was excited to see such inclusion and love in this book. As if that weren't enough, Aixa Perez-Prado serves up both lush illustration and language making City Feet an absolute pleasure as a read aloud with the dual benefit of working wonderfully as a bedtime book. Nowadays, when she's not meandering Miami with her husband Roberto, she enjoys reading, writing, drawing, hanging out with her six well-heeled children, and taking long walks with her four-pawed fuzzball, Hagrid.
