About this deal
From the New York Times bestselling author of It Ends With Us, Colleen Hoover’s bestselling Slammed series comes to its gripping conclusion. Their story slammed our hearts and we are seriously, deeply, madly, incredibly and undeniably fell in love with it. And well, reading the story from Will's POV surely provided a lot of *swoon* and *sigh* worthy moments. We got to see some of what Will went through before he met Lake, how he fell in love with her, and much to my ecstatic surprise, a look into their future.
The dialogue was just amazing, the kids… Kel and Caulder were butterflying perfect, and the poetry my God, the POETRY was BRILLANT. Layken and Will’s love has managed to withstand the toughest of circumstances, and the young lovers, now married, are beginning to feel safe and secure in their union.I am a sucker for romance but even I find the whole 'falling in love after a first date' thing a little vomit-inducing. If I wanted to pick up reading "Slammed" again, I - among many other readers - probably would've had no qualms about doing so and letting Will's thoughts be left in mystery (part of the beauty of a piece of writing is letting some stuff be to the reader's imagination) - much of it is implied in the first book, it didn't need a retracing.
