About this deal

Personally I love RUMOURS and TUSK, but there's just something about this live show that puts it all in perspective. From the start, right through to the end this concert sways, rocks and pumps a fluid of light and sublime sound! Some lovely close ups of Lindsey Buckingham's nimble fingers plucking the strings of his guitar and the sound of Mic. We don’t share your credit card details with third-party sellers, and we don’t sell your information to others. At the end of the concert the USC Trojan Marching Band marches onto the stage to join Fleetwood Mac for 'Tusk' and 'Don't Stop' to make a real fun finale.

Fleetwood Mac: The Dance To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the best selling 'Rumours' album, Fleetwood Mac decided to reform to record an album, embark on a national tour and film an MTV Special appearance. Lindsey Buckingham: [talking about "Bleed to Love Her"] This reconvening of these five people was kind of an organic. The Dance is a live album by the British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on 19 August 1997.Most of the others have either someone missing from the lineup or members appearing on stage and certainly not enjoying themselves as they do on this one. We acknowledge the traditional custodians of this land throughout Australia and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters, communities and culture. An excellent range of their music, with close ups of them performing, Mick on his drums, Chris Mc Vee on her keyboards, and Lyndsey’s guitar skills, to forgetting John or Stevie. From the opening chords of "The Chain" through to Christine's beautiful encore of "Songbird", the chills and thrills will run up and down your spine just like Lindsey's fingers run up and down his guitar fretboard.

Hey this version has Lindsey singing in it, so that's pretty cool~ and I think it's the only song form the Mirage album that they play in this. Where Lindsey isn't exactly a blues picker or guitar hero, it doesn't matter in that the bottom and beat are so strong to catch any limitation where you expect more from the lead. The show introduced four new tracks: Christine McVie's Temporary One, Nicks' Sweet Girl and Buckingham's Bleed to Love Her and My Little Demon. The album was titled for Henri Matisse's painting, Dance, which was at one point intended to be used as the album cover but couldn't be licensed. There are so many highlights in this great concert including "Dreams", "Everywhere", "Gold Dust Woman", "Landslide", "Over My Head", "Go Your Own Way" and Mick's drumming!

Does not appear on the CD, but was released as a B-side of " Silver Springs" and as a standalone digital single. You can almost hear Deep Purple and Euro-rock in I'm So Afraid; and a really fitting vocal tone from Buckingham, here, as well.

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the best selling 'Rumours' album, Fleetwood Mac decided to reform to record an album, embark on a national tour and film an MTV Special appearance. There are several DVD's out there of Fleetwood Mac but none of them measure up to this re-union concert. Unlike 1980's Live, which was a collection of live recordings over a series of 60 shows, The Dance was recorded in one night, albeit with good isolation to allow for overdubs. Does not appear on the CD, but was released as a B-side of "Silver Springs" and on the 2CD edition of The Very Best of Fleetwood Mac.The big reunion concert, from a few years ago, of the battling and estranged members of Fleetwood Mac - concert apparently first shown on MTV. That right there makes anyone who ever said the accordian was a dorky instrument, a prime canidate for a mental evaluation. The reformed band includes Stevie Nicks, Lindsey Buckingham, John and Christine McVie and Mick Fleetwood.
