About this deal
Enlivened by an infusion of distinctive red cole (horseradish) a root botanical used in refreshing cordials in 18th century northern England. In 1788 Edward, Thomas' son became a founding member of the Amicable Society which was an 18th century drinking club, where he met Edward Greenall of the then brewing family. A light spice coats the mouth, while delicate flavours of fresh coriander and sweet orange slowly evolve and linger on the finish. Distilled by hand in a baby copper pot still, Thomas Dakin Gin is a classic-style juniper-led, single London Dry Gin.
This sophisticated gin has a subtle sweetness that captures the naturally mellow flavours of white peach.
Thomas Dakin Gin is named after and inspired by gin distilling pioneer Thomas Dakin who started distilling in Warrington in 1761. Thomas Dakin Gin is a juniper led gin with zesty notes of sweet orange and fresh citrus enlivened by an infusion of distinctive red cole (the 18th-century name for horseradish), a savoury root botanical which gives Thomas Dakin its rich, long, lingering finish. v=1700935404","width":2500},{"alt":"Johnnie Walker Black Label 12YO 70cl","id":2923331584051,"position":3,"preview_image":{"aspect_ratio":1.
