Not a lot happens here, so I'm not really getting the level of OMGFLAIL that I see happening in the reviews. I have been following Lore Olympus on WEBTOON for ages and now that I have the first volume in had I couldnt be happier. Beautiful and dramatic, I couldn't put this book down and just had to carry on reading on webtoon after finishing it. Scandalous gossip, wild parties, and forbidden love—witness what the gods do after dark in this stylish and contemporary reimagining of one of mythology’s most well-known stories from creator Rachel Smythe.This is a treat for those who know the stories, but if you are unfamiliar with Greek mythology or only have a basic understanding this book won't make you feel outside of it at all and, if anything, will really welcome you in and be easy to follow. Persephone: The sweet pink cinnamon roll 💗 she is my favourite and I want her to stand for herself and I know she tries her best but sometimes people like Apollo don't know the meaning of NO😤 and all I want for her is happiness!
