About this deal

Serialized in Comic Garden magazine, Night of the Living Cat, written by Hawkman and illustratd by Mecha-Roots is a brand-new series that flips the zombie apocalypse on its head. Finance is provided by PayPal Credit (a trading name of PayPal UK Ltd, Whittaker House, Whittaker Avenue, Richmond-Upon-Thames, Surrey, United Kingdom, TW9 1EH). The illustrations are incredibly detailed, capturing the horror and chaos of the world in which the story takes place. The people living in this world don't find it funny, they find it horrifying that this is happening. To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average.

The artwork is pretty solid, more of an old school manga style, the dialogue is really trite and cutesy. I loved this volume so much and once I started it thinking I would read a chapter in between breaks of my novel book, I couldn’t put it down! Nothing violent is actually going on and he's using common everyday cat items to solve issues, like catnip to attract or incapacitate the cats, cat toys to distract them, water to repel and all this while being incredibly upset about the cats "hating him now" and having extreme internal clashes of conscience. This manga series continues to be a splendid spoof of Night of the Walking Dead with often times over dramatic characters who find themselves occasionally almost succumbing to the horde of feline overlords. This eBook (the same item) can be purchased as a gift up to 10 times within 180 days from the purchase date. The characters are also well-drawn, with their expressions and body language perfectly conveying their fear and desperation. Due to this, he has no idea about his past, how he ended up in this strange world, or how he has survived for this long. The art is inconsistent in some places (it looks very detailed and well-drawn on some pages and the proportions were off on the other pages) but all the cats are very well-drawn and super cute.

The logic of the whole thing is incredibly questionable and I guess that's where the "comedy" is supposed to come from. A pandemic breakout of the virus NN has turned humans into cats one after another and the remaining ones have to fight for their survival. When the Parasol Corporation 'accidentally' releases the C Virus into Ferret City's water supply, all of the Cat Girls begin dying.Jonathon is also a major anime fan, having been exposed to the medium through shows like Sailor Moon and Revolutionary Girl Utena.

I love cats and I love horror and this book certainly delivers on the first part (cats), but there's absolutely no horror here. Of course even with a to be continued at the end of the chapter I wonder how long this series will last. Due to the way it's written and displayed, I can't feel any care for the mc or his team, the most that can happen is that they turn into cats like everyone else, at this point it doesn't feel like a big deal especially since they all love cats so much, so why bother? When their cat energy merges into a massive mystical cat beast, will Kunagi be able to draw it away? The story wraps around to the action sequence that started the first volume (though there are a few minor inconsistencies, like at that time they talked about trying to get to Tanishi's car, except hid car had been wrecked earlier in the timeline, though later in the story; and here Tanishi says he wants a replacement for his bike). Read more about the condition New: A new, unread, unused book in perfect condition with no missing or damaged pages. Mankind has been overwhelmed by the power of their fearsome floof, turning into cats one after another. It gives the walking dead vibes as expected but absolutely adorable like the prime minister struggling to try and come up with methods to save humanity but yet there can be no harm done to the cats (of course! If you're a big cat fan definitely check out this series but if you don't have any particular attachment to felines then maybe you can skip this manga and read something else.
