About this deal

I hear the call of this siren: sweet voice of honey but shrill of cardamom, envelops me in the sanguine citrus fruit. I won't shout at the masterpiece but give it a chance because it will surprise you. Longevity is weak which i usually hold against a fragrance but I have to admit I find this scent pretty enchanting. I’ve learned Anna Sui fragrances are rather fleeting and i’ve been disappointed by them before but there's something about this one that is making me forgive it. Edit: The blood orange has overtaken Pink Sugar, I repeat, the blood orange has overtaken Pink Sugar. Begin evasive maneuvers. Shower, Dawn dishwashing liquid with a wipe down of jojoba oil. I'll update if I can't evade the blood orange with those emergency actions. This is the first time in a lllooonngg time that I've gotten a headache from a frag. On my skin the musk and sandalwood are timid at first, not really drawing attention to themselves almost like they don’t want to interfere with what’s going on up top where the real character of the scent plays out. They’re just there to provide a foundation for the first two acts and then a soft landing as the scent closes.

I usually dislike sweet scents, but this one is a pastel pink and sweet scent. It took me to test it several times in the store before deciding whether to buy it or not and I decided to take the plunge when there was a RM60 discount for the 50ml bottle with an extra 15ml decant. The bamboo behaves quite literally, supporting the top like scaffolding that keeps it from collapsing into the floral heart, instead giving it structure and adding dimension. its fresh green woodiness harmonises with the semi-medicinal air of the opening and let’s the florals open in their own time underneath, mellowing the citrus but keeping it intact. Bought this blind partly because I couldn't find a sample and really wanted to try it, but I'd be lying if I said that wanting this gorgeous bottle gracing my shelf wasn't a larger factor in my decision to buy. Fortunately this blind buy has been a success!

We are constantly hard at work to make sure that you are being offered the best quality products and on time. Have any of you tried the original Fantasia? I spritzed and sniffed it during a visit to Anna Sui's Manhattan boutique, and it wasn't my thing; too dessert-sweet, heavy on its "raspberry praline" accord. (I've heard that it's selling very well, so you should never take my taste as any indicator of commercial success.) But I took a chance on Fantasia Mermaid, just to have the opportunity to play with the fun, mermaid-topped bottle, and I realized that it's fairly dissimilar. I have been using it only on weekends when I go out. Whenever I have it on me I feel great. I went on a few dates with this perfume and got compliments from my dates (in their early 30s) saying how good I smell. Directly beneath that is a honey lemon cough drop that coats your throat. Sparkling and sweet like candy but cooling and syrupy like medicine, almost reminiscent of eucalyptus but persistently sweet. Every 50ml bottle of Fantasia Mermaid EDT Spray by ANNA SUI, Water, benzaldehyde, camphor, methylene chloride, and limonene. Triethyl citrate, Octocrylene, Ethylhexyl Methoxycinnamate, Limonene, Diethylamino Hydroxybenzoyl, benzyl alcohol, acetone, linalool, ethanol.

This opens so juicy and fruity-fresh with that pear; in fact, just from the opening alone I was worried that this was just going to be a super generic fruity floral (which is of course great and pleasant, just not exactly what I wanted from this after reading the notes). However, the dry down is where this perfume really shines. The lily of the valley and lotus notes give it this airy, watery, and sky-like quality (hence the name, I’m assuming) while the rose adds this hyper-feminine, almost princess kind of vibe. Finally, the popcorn is evident right when those florals start to come out (at least to my nose) and it only grows stronger as the fragrance continues to warm and develop on the skin. Anna Sui is diving into a whimsical underwater world with a new fragrance: Fantasia Mermaid. After roaming through mystical lands with Fantasia, it's time to continue the journey under the shimmering seas. It's not on the top of my favourite list because sweet scents are just a "like" for me, but I wear it pretty often when I go out with friends, and it has a fairly good sillage, and lasts for around 4 hours before becoming a skin scent, a bit longer if on my clothes. I am glad I got this instead of Cosmic Sky which I was tempted to blind buy due to the pretty bottle, but was glad I didn't because Cosmic Sky was absolutely headache-inducing. Sky (I absolutely love the hot air balloon design) sits prettily on my dresser and is also a scent I often reach for. The composition, announced as more ethereal and dreamy than the original, is created by perfumer Mathieu Nardin as a floral - citrus – woody scent. It opens with notes of frosted lemon, tangerine and pomelo, leading to the subtle floral heart of freesia, orange blossom, orchid and bamboo. Creamy sandalwood, amber and delicate musk form the base of the perfume. Earthy, comforting. Then, I pictured myself on a very sunny summers day, in the English countryside somewhere, riding a lovely grey pony. And we brush past a huge raspberry bush. Raspberry bush. Not the actual berry, but a bush. It's so real, I kept looking around for that bush.Authority to prescribe an Authority medicine is granted for specific indications and/or for certain patient circumstances. A carefree and sensual scent, Fantasia Mermaid's aquatic fruity floral notes conjure up mystery, enchantment and adventure. not be liable for any direct, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising under these terms and As a lover of mermaids, I’ve been trying to find the perfect “mermaid” perfume for a while now. Needless to say I had to try this! Initially it smelled like a foresty, flower field quite similar to Jo Malone's Wild Bluebell cologne. But as my nose got used to it, it smelled sweeter and saccharine but in a mild, inoffensive way, and I also began to notice the popcorn note. It smells nothing like Wild Bluebell anymore. It's a very dreamy, pastel funfair-in-the-clouds sort of scent, almost nostalgic like an innocent childhood dream. Sunlight, cotton clouds and a dolled-up carefree vibe to me. It's very much a day scent and a good balance of cool and warm to be used in the tropical weather of Malaysia - works well both on sunny and rainy days. The song that plays in my head when I smell this is 近くて遠いゆめ by kukui, given its sweet, whimsical tune.
