Will appeal to legions of readers who have been captivated by the Lord of the Rings trilogy."-- School Library JournalAnd the world....few authors have captured by heart and dreams the way Paolini has with Alagaesia. The lore and history and magic and landscapes and just all of it is stunning and has had my mind in a chokehold for over a decade. I find something new every time I read Eragon which is a testament to the quality of the writing, in my opinion. This is a lifelong favorite for me - adventure, politics, battle, slight romance, vast world building....DRAGONS. No matter how many times I reread it, it remains a comfort and I love it more every time.

He was fifteen when he wrote the first draft of Eragon and his family self-published the book in 2001. An authentic work of great talent . . . Now his choices could save—or destroy—the Empire. Celebrate the worldwide fantasy phenomenon Eragon, the first book in the Inheritance Cycle, which has sold more than 40 million copies across the series. Oromis mentioned that one of the "basic glyphs" was on Aren, so one of the glyphs should look like this.
