About this deal

Of all the revelations, the one that stunned him the most was that the Shizun he had hated to the bone in his previous life had always been protecting him from the shadows…

He had 3 disciples in SiSheng Peak Sect – Xue Meng, the young Master of SiSheng Peak; Shi Mei (a kind and gentle disciple whose cultivation constitution is not fantastic so he was more of a healer or medicine man); and Mo Ran (Xue Meng’s older cousin, and later the most powerful cultivator, surpassing CWN). idk it feels like the third person omniscient narration (and the pov jumps around so much and makes little narrator judgements and observations too often for me to accept that it's third person limited) is HEAVILY biased in favour of painting chu wanning as a poor, sympathetic character. he's actually an asshole and emotionally stunted, but this is treated as "cold, removed, cool jade" and "just how he is, oh youuu" and mo ran and everyone else fawns over him endlessly.I want your person. I want your life. You want to be their fire, I want to take you to my grave. You can only illuminate my bones. I want you to rot with me."

and then him touching his chest and saying yes it is warm bcs his wanning touched him there ohmygod im sobbing Can Mo Ran trust his inner light to guide him through his darkness? Language: English Words: 26,498 Chapters: 2/6 Kudos: 16 Bookmarks: 3 Hits: 251 I know that there is an audiance for this kind of stuff for some reason, I know that for some weird reason there is people that enjoy this? I will never understand that, I find it extremely gross and off-putting even if it is purely fictional. The very fact that Chu Wanning later falls in love with and gets together with his abuser (even if he does not remember as of now) by itself throws me off. Godsss. This volume hurt so good. Wasn’t expecting this volume to break my heart but here we are. This book is basically just pain, grief, misunderstandings being cleared, and Mo Ran’s obvious love for his Shizun (and still he cannot recognize these feelings what a dumbass) AHHHHHHHH THIS BOOK OHMYGOD IT BROKE ME IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE TAXIAN JUN IM NEVER GETTING OVER YOUR DERANGED ASSChu Wanning died at the last battle at Heavenly Lake. He could not kill TaXian-Jun at the end, and was instead transmigrated into his younger self along with Mo Ran after the latter killed himself. And I wonder if we're ever gonna get Chu Wanning's POV of the previous timeline events. It must be heartbreaking but I'm masochistically curious. I know it's probably just pain and more pain and even more pain but I need to know. the side characters were all so distinct with such good fleshed out arcs of their own - xue meng and shi mei are my faves.

On January 21, 2020, Luo Yunxi and Chen Feiyu were announced as the main leads. [6] Concept and design [ edit ] I don't condone a lot of things he did. But my god, how can someone not like him after finishing this book. His character development is just *chefs kiss* YandereBinghe Fandoms: 二哈和他的白猫师尊 - 肉包不吃肉 | The Husky and His White Cat Shizun - Meatbun Doesn't Eat Meat The day after Chu Wanning died, he drank a whole jar of pear blossom white, and every day after that, he would fall asleep in the tomb of a living corpse called the Red Lotus Pavilion. From that day on, he had buried himself too.

Also known as Yuheng of the Night Sky (晚夜玉衡) and the Beidou Immortal (北斗仙尊), he is a grandmaster of the cultivation world who hides his caring and sensitive nature behind a cold exterior. He devotes his time to the thankless task of sealing the rifts in the barrier between the ghost realm and the mortal realm and often spends his spare time creating affordable mechanical devices such as the Holy Night Guardian so ordinary people can protect themselves from ghosts. Chu Wanning takes it upon himself to protect the people and rid the world of evil even if it means sacrificing himself. valonsito Fandoms: 二哈和他的白猫师尊 - 肉包不吃肉 | The Husky and His White Cat Shizun - Meatbun Doesn't Eat Meat, 人渣反派自救系统 - 墨香铜臭 | The Scum Villain's Self-Saving System - Mòxiāng Tóngxiù, 余污 - 肉包不吃肉 | Remnants of Filth - Meatbun Doesn't Eat Meat

Onto the "love interest" - Chu Wanning. I found him a lot more bearable and somewhat more compelling than Mo Ran, his issues were also handled slightly better imo. Towards the latter half of the book it is revealed that he has some sort of feelings towards Mo Ran, although with how he is even if they are presented as such its hard to believe that Chu Wanning would be romantically interested in anyone. At the time Mo Ran is like 16 and Chu Wanning is probably 24-26? idk. It is weird. He pushes those thoughts away, finding them horrible and himself disgusting, he does not persue Mo Ran or the feelings he has towards him. Nevertheless it was introduced kinda weirdly and after the way Mo Ran is handled I do not trust the author to handle this character any better. I know or I've heard there is more to it later on but this is what is presented in volume one, this is how I will talk about it for now. the underworld arc was neat, but... agh... chu wanning... he's so clearly the author's pet and he keeps getting thousands and thousands of words woobifying him. he's SO mistreated by the cultivation world! (except everyone loves him and showers him with praise and tries to get on his good side) he's SO lonely! (except he knows exactly why he's lonely - bc he's too proud, has a terrible temper, and intentionally doesn't reach out to others, all things which he knows and can change) Mo Ran once again felt the vine binding him squeeze and twist, making his organs feel like they were going to wrench into mush. He screamed in agony, letting loose the thoughts in his mind. This novel is very dark and i don't want anyone to have a hard time because they didn't know where they were getting into, so if you come across this comment, have all this in mind and decide if you want to read this or not. Massacring his way to the top to become emperor of the cultivation world, Mo Ran’s cruel reign left him with little satisfaction. Now, upon suffering his greatest loss, he takes his own life…It’s a heartwrenching, agonising story that keeps you up at night (bought an eye cream last night because this novel gave me even more dark circles), makes you distracted in classes (translation: sneakily using your phone to read the book during lessons……) and be a hermit just to read it as fast as you possibly can. I love this novel. It consumed my entire being in the last week. I couldn’t think about anything but it.
