I’m a one woman show, from a very small kitchen in my family home. With two children. Some of you already know but for those that don’t, I have a three year old and I also have ten year old with additional needs. Made as stated but used Muscovado dark brown sugar, 2 medium eggs and spelt flour. Didn't have a 9x9 pan so I used a 6x11 cms so I let it bake for 35 mins. Easy and delicious. If you can find dutch cocoa powder, I highly recommend using it here when called for, because that’s the type of cocoa typically used in boxed brownie mixes, so it’s what will make these taste the most authentic. Pro Tip: Cool the brownies in the pan fully before cutting them into squares (I know – it’s agony). This will take at least 2 hours. The pan shouldn’t feel warm to the touch. If you lined the pan with parchment or fil, lift them out of the pan using the overhang and place on a cutting board.
