WOW has been very busy this month, either going out to get scrap, meeting new companies and individuals who want to donate scrap or attending events and trying to get out and about to meet you all! Winter Accessories For Kids This is our first blog, and I thought I’d start by updating everyone on what we have been doing during the last couple of months… April and May this year have been great for scrap – we’ve had some lovely bits and pieces donated by companies and members of the public! Every little bit helps and we always welcome your donations. All we ask is for clean and interesting scrap and that is what you’ve all been giving us. Waterproof and non-waterproof material

This Saturday past WOW attended the Tidy Up Our Town Event held by Barnstaple Town Council in Roc Park. Even through it rained, we managed to get quite a few children in under the shelter to make lots of weird and wonderful creations with our scrap. Big or small there is always something for you to make at a WOW Creation Station! Older children were making name plaques for their rooms out of gilded card from Denis Wright, while younger children where making ice creams and googly eyed monsters! The Tiger who came to tea @ Little Makers Barnstaple Library. Another new supplier to WOW is B & M (Barnstaple) Ltd. WOW has had had lots of end of line clothing, children’s hat and gloves, adult leather gloves and shoes/wellies donated to us (as well as card, car seat covers and other things). The shoes range from slippers to sandals and children’s size 6 – 9 Minion wellies. Clean nearly new children’s clothing in store now.
