About this deal

Her parents are doing the unthinkable and suing Aiden for a ridiculous amount of money (that they don’t need) and trying to blame him for an accident that he had nothing to do with. Lexa is disgusted by her parents and tries to convince them to drop their frivolous suit, but they are greedy, despicable people who won’t be swayed. Emma Teager has gone to Louisiana trying to find the plantation that her grandfather vaguely remembers from his childhood. She wants to solve the family mystery that he's told her about. This is a one star but think of it as a nice one star because I have read books so much worse and more offensive than this but I can't get myself to give this a two.

When Aiden leaves his friend’s bar drunk, he crashes his motorcycle and ends up in Lexa’s ER which proves too tempting when she finds out who he is.Hamza Abbas, the CEO of Alpha Rational, is a force of nature in the business world. As a Muslim billionaire, he navigates the treacherous waters of corporate politics with the skill and cunning of a seasoned warrior. But when he meets Beth, he realizes that there is more to life than just profit and power. From the moment she discovers Indigo Pointe she is intrigued and knows this is the planation that her Opa remembers. Surely she will be able to find all the answers to her questions. But her hope diminishes slightly when she discovers the handsome stranger who came to her aide has a beastly side to him.

Thomas! Well what can I say about him? Well he's called The Ruthless Bastard because of how hard he pushes everyone in his company and how he "blasts" them off. But he expects perfection and that's down to years of physical and mental abuse from his dear old dad. I felt for Thomas on a regular basis while reading this book. My heart broke for him numerous times when he revealed things to Mia. The inner voice, his demon, was harsh and critical of him in everything he does but then along comes Mia and she helps to quieten the voice but not totally.
