About this deal

UNDERESTIMATE ME. THAT’LL BE FUN! is both fun and inspiring and offers a fierce, defiant message of self-empowerment and embracing one’s true self. It’s a spirited and often lyrical guide to living a full and joyful life–until an ill-considered digression torpedoes its affirming message. Produced pre-Covid, the learners at the Prosper Centre in Kells, not only got the chance to learn how to use state-of-the-art recording equipment, but they also got the chance to develop the confidence and team-building skills that come with being involved in a project like this”, according to Shane Carolan, Service Manager in Prosper’s Kells services. Another interpretation of the quote is that it is a call to action for individuals to believe in themselves and their abilities. By embracing the idea that it can be fun to be underestimated, the speaker is essentially saying that they are not defined by others’ opinions of them. Instead, they are defined by their own belief in themselves and their abilities. Expanding on the Topic To her credit, she said wait until the debate, that would change things and it did, at least a little, for now. All the buzz from the debate was about Vivek — mixed — and Haley exceeding expectations. Certainly no one’s talking about DeSantis and (South Carolina Sen. Tim) Scott based on their debate performance. So she’s earned herself a second look,” said Fergus Cullen, a former chair of the New Hampshire Republican Party. As Nikki’s message reaches more voters, her toughness and candor is resonating. People like what they’re seeing,” said Haley spokeswoman Olivia Perez-Cubas. “It’s a marathon, not a sprint.”

The quote “Underestimate me, that’ll be fun” can be interpreted in several ways. At its core, it is a statement of confidence and resilience in the face of adversity. When someone underestimates you, they are essentially saying that they do not believe in your abilities or potential. However, by saying that it will be fun to be underestimated, the speaker is suggesting that they relish the opportunity to prove their critics wrong. The Underestimate Me, That’ll Be Fun Shirt is the perfect way to show the world that you’re not afraid to stand out. The message is clear: don’t underestimate me, because that’ll be fun! Whether you’re out and about or just lounging around the house, this shirt will make sure you look and feel your best.As described by the author this book is "a collection of rants, opinions, and observations on random subjects that I scribbled while running away from and toward my true self." I definitely found that to be true. Each chapter is it's own short "rant" and it feels there is little linkage between chapters.

I also felt that the author gave some cliché and at times conflicting advice. Cliché in terms of phrasing used. As an example of the conflicting advice, chapter 35 focuses on kindness, but throughout the book the author has a number of unkind things to say about certain groups of people (feminists, less-masculine men, people on antidepressants - among others). In one part she tells a story about a time when she was in an embarrassing situation, she made herself feel better by purposely embarrassing someone else, which to me was counter-intuitive to her advice on kindness. I felt some of these comments took away from the advice the author was trying to get across. The author's chapter on the COVID pandemic also felt a little problematic to me. These are obviously her opinions and she is entitled to them but I think we need to be very careful about information we spread on something as serious as the pandemic. Haley, a former U.S. ambassador to the United Nations, was not the only candidate to flex her years of government experience on the stage. Pence slammed Ramaswamy as a “rookie” and former New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie got in on the action, too. Part of Haley’s advantage over the others, Berke said, was her delivery. Sometimes funny and with cute drawings, this book talks a bit too much about /self/ help in a way that seems to contradict how it can help you—since only you can do that and hope to be as “unapologetically you” as her. But it is good advice to keep a thankfulness and dream journal every day to see what you’re (subconsciously) working towards. In sports, the quote can be used as a way to motivate athletes who are facing tough competition or are seen as underdogs. By embracing the challenge of being underestimated, athletes can use it as fuel to push themselves beyond their perceived limitations and achieve success.A Self-help Scrapbook. A 100 pg cheeky life coach. A softer Suicide Squad girl with an axe to grind. A lot of cliches off the Harley Quinn-style bat—at least if Facebook-inspired quotes count as old enough. However, this book is very modern w/ mention of COVID. Interestingly, we start in Chile very in-scene at a cafe, consuming coca leaves. Then we get an avalanche of well-meaning proverbs and lyrics when we need more examples to get where our MC/philosopher is coming from. What really makes them weird, what’s made them clam up, what are their insecurities? With programmes such as our ‘Stay Connected’ programme, it’s never too late to become involved, and with our oldest learner recently divulging their age of 92 years, it’s certainly never too late to learn!”
