Zhu, Xi 朱熹. 2012. Collected Commentaries of the Four Books 四書章句集注. Beijing 北京: Zhonghua Shuju 中華書局.

The book presents to us the Theory of Prophetic Intelligence. The foundation lays on the realization that our beloved Prophet SAW was indeed the most Intelligent Person that ever set foot on earth. In the New Testament, the Greek word phroneo is often translated “mind” and most often refers to a person’s understanding, views, or opinions, as in “But when Jesus turned and looked at his disciples, he rebuked Peter. ‘Get behind me, Satan!’ he said. ‘You do not have in mind the concerns of God, but merely human concerns’” (Mark 8:33). Another example: “But we want to hear what your views are, for we know that people everywhere are talking against this sect” (Acts 28:22). Here, “your views” is the translation of the word in question. From patient records: Age, sex, type of heart disease and comorbidity, prior ventricular tachycardia (VT)/ventricilar fribrillation (VF), New York Heart Association (NYHA) classification, ejection fraction, diabetes mellitus, time of cardiac diagnosis and all medication. Patient and public involvement Patients and/or the public were involved in the design, or conduct, or reporting, or dissemination plans of this research. Refer to the Methods section for further details. In the language of Buddha and Pali, the teachings written down were based on Sanskrit, so we can look at the Sanskrit terms and understand them. Moreover, Pali was also derived from Sanskrit. Analysis of the problem: The patient’s actual problems will be identified and related to their life story and events that influence this, for example, cardiac arrest. An investigation of the impact that assumptions and strategies established earlier in life have on the current problems and on the negative thoughts that are characteristic to anxiety. treat the heart-mind as only part of the process of de德 (practical competence) of political leaders, artisans, The content seemed to follow an unknown pattern at times. It felt unorganized and really out of place at some point so I’ve been STRUGGLING to finish this read.

Openheartedness—a state described by warmth, generosity, and care—is at the core of spiritual practice. The quality of having a receptive attitude toward people and experiences, without preferences, allows for meeting others with sincerity, compassion, and a genuine openness to connect on a deeper level. In turn, this way of being promotes a more harmonious world. So how do we practice from the place of our heart, where we might grasp awake awareness? First we must disentangle from thinking-managing-forehead mind, the place we focus from. Usually, the thinking mind and awareness are intermingled. But we can begin to experience how that awareness goes beyond conceptual thinking. We can allow awareness to unhook from the “manager mind” and to fill our whole body and heart. Then we can feel our heart as resonating from its own perspective. Answers a lot of the questions one has about the current world, like "why is today's society like this?". Reminds me of Ustaz Hasrizal's books in this sense. right. The Mohist concept of measurement standards ( fa法) remain central in this realist later Mohist phase. The In physiologist and researcher Walter Bradford Cannon’s view, when we are aroused, the mobilizing part of the nervous system (sympathetic) energizes us for fight or flight, which is indicated by an increase in heart rate, and in more quiescent moments, the calming part of the nervous system (parasympathetic) calms us down and slows the heart rate. Cannon believed the autonomic nervous system and all of the related physiological responses moved in concert with the brain’s response to any given stimulus or challenge. Presumably, all of our inner systems are activated together when we are aroused and calm down together when we are at rest and the brain is in control of the entire process. Cannon also introduced the concept of homeostasis. Since then, the study of physiology has been based on the principle that all cells, tissues and organs strive to maintain a static or constant steady-state condition. However, with the introduction of signal-processing technologies that can acquire continuous data over time from physiological processes such as heart rate (HR), blood pressure (BP) and nerve activity, it has become abundantly apparent that biological processes vary in complex and nonlinear ways, even during so-called steady-state conditions. These observations have led to the understanding that healthy, optimal function is a result of continuous, dynamic, bidirectional interactions among multiple neural, hormonal and mechanical control systems at both local and central levels. In concert, these dynamic and interconnected physiological and psychological regulatory systems are never truly at rest and are certainly never static.Restructuring of negative automatic thoughts: Preparation of a ‘thought journal’ where the nurse and patient analyse problematic situations by identifying ‘situation’, ‘physical symptoms’, ‘feelings’, ‘negative automatic thoughts’ and ‘behaviour’. Connecting the heart is not only about taking care of the heart through proper nutrition and exercise to promote adequate circulation, it is about connecting to the heart’s intelligence. Research at theHeartMath Institutesuggests that signals from the heart can change cognitive and emotional signals in the brain. Stress is a leading factor in the development of symptoms related to chronic illness. Learning to tap into the heart’s intelligence can dramatically improve cognitive ability and emotions during times of stress and chronic or life-limiting illness. TheHeart-Focused Breathingtechnique can help create a sense of calm and balance, while reducing negative feelings associated with the day-to-day stress of world events, difficult relationships, work schedules, and general dis-ease.
