I strongly recommend this book for football fans, sociologists, and people with interest in politics, religion, or Southern Culture as there are many issues intertwined. it especially bugged me because, in my opinion, i thought it was pretty clear he was over her a while ago and now into Giana. so these weird interactions between them would take me out of the story a bit and just ruin the all-around good vibes of the story. these moments didn’t last long... but they were enough for me to notice.
