About this deal

Melta is pretty oppressive, and several good armies have access to a lot of it. The point cost for them is low enough that they're efficient even when they're playing against lists without vehicles.

The Repulsor Executioner is an upgrade that can transport fewer Primaris Marines (6 instead of 10) and comes with some really big guns (Heavy Onslaught Gatling Cannon: Heavy 12, S 6, AP -1; Macro Plasma Incinerator: Heavy D6, S 8, AP -4, D 2). But it comes in at 355 points. (You can further add a massive anti-tank gun, the Heavy Laser Destroyer–Heavy 2, S 12, AP -4, D D3+3–for an additional 10 points.) But for that price you could get an entire 10-man Veteran Intercessor Squad PLUS a Vindicator. Powered by ASUS is a collaboration with Gladiator PC that empowers users with performance-tuned custom PCs with industry-leading hardware from ASUS, the world's No. 1 motherboard and gaming monitor brand. In addition to motherboards and monitors, the Powered by ASUS program includes graphics cards, all-in-one liquid coolers, power supplies, optical drives, chassis, peripherals, and routers. The result is a seamless fusion of synchronized features, aesthetic finesse, and fine-tuned performance for a totally tailored Gladiator machine. LANCER - CUSTOM AMD GAMING PC Like the Storm Speeder, Space Marines use three different variants of the Gladiator. Gladiator Lancer The new weapon is a macro plasma incinerator, shooting a D6 Strength 8 shots with Damage 2 and Blast, expressly designed to destroy squads of heavy infantry. Since this plasma weapon is mounted on a vehicle, unmodified rolls of ‘1’ only deal a mortal wound instead of destroying the model. Shooting the macro plasma incinerator may be a valid choice for the increased Strength and Damage. Just keep your mighty Techmarine close to buff that right out. Archmagos Dominus Belisarius Cawl has continued his quest in pursuit of the techno-heresy called "innovation" to outfit the Primaris Space Marines with the best weapons, armour, and war machines in the galaxy. This brutal armoured behemoth is the first dedicated battle tank to emerge from his forges on Mars. As with the other Primaris tanks created by Cawl's genius -- the Impulsor and Repulsor variants -- the Gladiator uses anti-gravity Repulsor Field technology to drift menacingly across the battlefield as one of the rare Imperial grav tanks. The Whirlwind comes in at number three, but that comes with some caveats: it’s not amazing, but it is pretty cheap, and it does ignore line of sight as an artillery vehicle. It has the Hunter Killer Missile, and a Storm Bolter. Then you can either choose the Whirlwind Castellan Launcher, which is Heavy 2D6 S 6, AP 0, Blast, or you can take the Whirlwind Vengeance Launcher, which is Heavy 2D3, S 7, AP -1, D 2, Blast. So it’s kind of one meant for weak hordes and one meant for slightly stronger hordes. (Neither is meant for anything particularly strong. The second big reason that tanks aren’t as commonly used is because they are in more danger of close combat. It may seem that recent changes that allow a tank to fire during close combat are a benefit, and that’s kind of true, but the real problem is that the recent changes to the standard board sizes mean that any real long-range shooting tank has the potential to wind up pinned in close combat and forced into that fight instead of doing its long-range shooting. Gladiator PC, Powered by ASUS, ensures to deliver works of art in every PC that rolls off our production lines. We understand that perfect PCs start with the BEST hardware, and we partner with ASUS because we take their hardware to levels that other components and system builders can only dream about. Built to be the "BEST": (Breakthrough, Easy Setup, Stable and Trusted), PBA systems combine cutting edge ASUS hardware with industry leading system architects and unmatched service, with you calling the shots from start to finish.

This set is supplied in 157 plastic components and also contains 1x Citadel 100mm Round Base and 1x Clear Tank Hover Stand. A Primaris Vehicle Transfer Sheet is also included. This kit can alternatively be used to assemble a Gladiator Valiant, Gladiator Reaper or an Impulsor. Unlike the Land Speeder, Storm Speeders do have a Damage Chart. You can see the degradation from the Hammerstrike example earlier in the article. However, when a Storm Speeder begins experiencing degradation after 5 Wounds, the Land Speeder would be on its last one. Meanwhile, Storm Speeders still have 5 to go. Not usually, or they are allied and chewing up lots of points and firepower, especially some of the enemy's anti-tank For repeat themes, see again Aggressors, who pour out a huge volume of anti-infantry firepower. Whirlwinds can also contribute volume of shots to anti-infantry since they shoot d6+3 with a BLAST weapon, though unlike Desolation Squads they do suffer the indirect penalties and so you will want to account for cover and potentially either shoot them at an Oath target or give them +1 to hit from somewhere, or both. The Demolisher Cannon is nothing to laugh at, either, doing D6 strength 10 hits at -3 AP, D6 wounds, and Blast. Granted, there is the danger that this is an all-or-nothing kind of tank–you could roll one shot or six shots, and one damage or six damage, meaning that this cannon can either dole out a total of 1 damage to the enemy or 36 damage to the enemy. It’s definitely worth saving up your Command Points when using the Vindicator. Not really. It has a few things going for it, in that it can transport Primaris Marines (that’s the main benefit of the Repulsor). And it can be loaded with some pretty good weapons (like Twin Lascannons or the Onslaught Gatling Cannon — Heavy 8, S 5, AP -1). But, like the Land Raider, it is expensive: with the Onslaught Gatling Cannon it costs a whopping 330 points. Dedicated Transports occupy a special place in Warhammer 40,000’s Detachments. For each infantry unit in a detachment, you may include a dedicated transport. Like APCs and IFVs in the real world they tend to be not very well armed and armored.

The vehicle also includes a hardpoint for mounting one of four options. A shield dome gives the Impulsor a 5+ invulnerable save, something not usually seen on Imperial vehicles. Adding an orbital comms array permits the vehicle, once per game, to call in an orbital strike, dealing D3 mortal to nearby units. For more direct action, mount the bellicatus missile array. The bellicatus carries the standard compliment of Imperial missiles; krak, frag, and Icarus missiles. Finally, there is the ironhail skytalon array which fires 8 shots at Strength 4. It is great for engaging lighter aircraft or infantry. Entries in this series When the Adeptus Astartes fight, they employ a set of combat doctrines to eliminate the enemy. After pounding the foe with heavy weapons, warriors advance to lay down a hail of bolter fire before charging forth with chainswords roaring to finish the foe.If every unit from your army has the ADEPTUS ASTARTES keyword (excluding AGENT OF THE IMPERIUM and UNALIGNED units), this unit gains a bonus (see below) depending on which Combat Doctrine is active for your army. During the first battle round, the Devastator Doctrine is active for your army. From the second battle round onwards, at the start of the battle round, you can change which Combat Doctrine is active for your army, as follows:One of the few vehicles able to Transport Primaris Marines, Repulsors carry up to 10. They may even transport Primaris in Mk X Gravis armor, but they take up 2 spots. However, transport is not the primary purpose of Repulsors. Just look at the shooting options! For other options, you might also look at the Storm Speeder Hailstrike, which has respectable anti-infantry shooting and also grants additional AP to other Space Marine units that shoot at a target it hit – which can be great for setting up your lighter firepower to punch above its weight, and is particularly helpful into things that have AP-reducing effects like those under Illuminor Szeras’ aura. Other than Desolation Squads, Marines had a few other units go up in points, largely for internal balance reasons – Gladiator Lancers are no longer both cheaper and better than their brethren, Roboute Guilliman took a hike, and Infiltrators took a slight bump to widen the gap between them and equivalent “line infantry” type units. Storm Speder Thunderstrikes also took a bump, presumably for the same reason; more weirdly, Sternguard Veterans and Terminator Assault Squads got a slight lift as well. Perhaps I’m an idiot, but I wasn’t aware those were crowding anything else out.
