About this deal

The film Yuta compiled together that seemed to be a documentary, turned out to be a semi autobiography that Yuta edited and showed in front of the whole school.

he has an exceptional gift for illustrating realistic, flawed, conflicted characters that you just can't help but root for and see yourself in. As is evident in the many complex relationship dynamics in Chainsaw Man, Fujimoto portrays the ups and downs of young love in all its forms expertly. The affection between Yuta and Eri, as well as Yuta and his dying mother, is both genuine and toxic, both heartwarming and unsettling, and painfully realistic. The panelling was simple yet bright assimilating a camera most of the time if not all depending on the perspective you choose to view. My Confusing, is just the first word that comes to mind when I think of this one shot, sure, but I cannot deny that it's thought-provoking, really interesting, and even when it takes a turn it retains an integrity of body and soul that only elevates the concept and end product. The first part is schmaltzy but also touching and the severe left turn it takes is so very unexpected and kinda funny too. It’s an effective approach - to start with. The problem is that Fujimoto does this too many times throughout the narrative so that you don’t know what you’re meant to make of the whole thing. a b c "Goodbye, Eri". Viz Media. It is immensely rewarding to see an author circle the same topics over and over again, and every time he does he manages to change things up just enough to keep things exciting and fresh. It's even more rewarding to follow an author since debut and see him get bolder and more confident in the things he likes: his endless love for film; his love for an incomprehensible, difficult woman; the male protagonist on the brink of despair; the love for family, as complex as that may end up being; our nature to self-edit our every move, our core of being; and the detachment of a writer from the rest of the world, the way story and reality blur so often the line may as well be completely absent. Nov 25 i☆Ris the Movie - Full Energy!! - Anime Film Teaser Visual Revealed at i☆Ris Live Stage in Anime NYC & i☆Ris First Performance in New York Successfully Completed I'd like to end this review by saying that we indeed have the power to remember our loved ones in the way we want, and not in a way they want us to. So enjoy the little moments with them while it lasts. This is my takeaway from this beautiful manga. So grateful to Fujimoto for creating it. Creative Sterility: Eri refuses to make her own films, and instead acts as a producer to Yuta, because she's only interested in movies other people would make. Goodbye, Eri' very smartly plays with your mind, forcing you to wonder what's real or not. Apparently, Yuta was inclined towards fantasy to deal with his childhood trauma. Yiuta's mother was abusive towards him and his father. But even after all that, he showed his mother beautifully in the movie. Yuta ended the movie with a touch of fantasy to deal with his mother's death his own way. He tried to remember her through the lens, which presented her as a good mother. Yuta - The main character of this manga. Greatly written character. I love his personality. My type of person. Very funny.

No Sympathy: Despite his mother's passing, most of Yuta's class are hostile about Dead Explosion Mother. They either say its strange ending disrespected his mother's memory or openly laugh and call it terrible. Due to the length of this oneshot, all spoilers are untagged. Please read the story before continuing! At the very beginning of the story, Yuta's mom drops a fairly big bombshell onto her son and saddles him with an emotionally arresting task in the middle of his birthday, even ignoring his requests not to talk about it. Sure enough, her emotional manipulation of him becomes more apparent later. Yuta Ito is a highschooler who just got his hands on a new smartphone for his birthday. While he's pleased to play around with it, his mother makes an odd request- to record her final days before she passes away. Despite his hangups, Yuta does so, turning his experience into a film screening for his school. Due to the rather strange ending where Yuta runs away from the hospital as it explodes, his school relentlessly bullies him for it.It turns out that Yuta's mother wanted herself to be filmed in the best possible light and was actually abusive towards Yuta and his father. Nostalgia Ain't Like It Used to Be: Yuta's father deluded himself into thinking his wife was as kind as the film portrayed, only relenting when he fears Yuta would do the same and be unable to move on. The Not-Love Interest: Despite a similar structure to a love story, Eri claims she only loves Yuta's movies, not him personally (in a romantic way), though Yuta may have had unrequited feelings. However, the fictional vampire Eri is Promoted to Love Interest in the film Yuta makes about them. As well, the "real" vampire Eri points out that the film itself is a monument to Eri's love for him and vice versa, so even if they never officially dated and weren't romantically involved, their love for each other was real. Fujimoto is here to stay, and we're all just along for the ride. I can only wonder what the hell he has in store for Chainsaw Man part 2, and whatever else comes after that. an impression for quite some time. To be honest, I didn't think I'd enjoy it the way I did. It seemed like a cliche with the death of the mother and an inspiring friend/love interest, but boy was I wrong!
