About this deal

Edit again: I just realized Taryn's kid is gonna be in this. I don't know how to feel about this. BUT I NEED MORE JURDAN PLEASEEEE I'M MAINLY COMING FOR JURDAN😍😍😍😍😍😍 Jude goes to the Court of Shadows to work on her safety plans for Oak. Cardan arrives to bring her news of what he discovered from Nicasia after a few kisses. Her mother plans to act during Taryn's wedding. Before he leaves, he mentions the intimacy that happened between them the other night. Jude cuts him off and says she is sure it served the same purpose for both of them: to get it out of their system. My favourite bits of this story would have to be the follow up with Cardan and Jude after the events of Queen of Nothing. I won’t go into too many details, but the very end is one of my favourite chapters of this book. You all know me at this point, romance makes my little heart squee with delight, and this story is no different in that regard. This book was both everything and nothing at the same time. Everything because um it's Cardan Greenbriar???🥰 just thought id start the review with that in case that's all u wanted to know. (ur welcome) (i accept thanks in the form of cash).

Meanwhile, Prince Dain is to be crowned within months and he takes in Jude as a spy, due to her human ability to lie (which faeries cannot) and employs her in the Court of Shadows with a trio consisting of The Roach, The Bomb and The Ghost. Prince Dain gives Jude a geas that prevents her from being enchanted into obeying instructions from fae (mind magic). Jude begins a practice ofmithridatism– taking small doses of poison to become immune to its effects.

Need Help?

Villains were wonderful. They got to be cruel and selfish, to preen in front of mirrors and poison apples, and trap girls on mountains of glass. They indulged all their worst impulses, revenged themselves for the least offense, and took every last thing they wanted.

This new installment in the Folk of the Air series is a return to the heart-racing romance, danger, humor, and drama that enchanted readers everywhere. Each chapter is paired with lavish and luminous full-color art, making this the perfect collector’s item to be enjoyed by both new audiences and old. AwardsI feared that there would be too many scenes from the original trilogy that would be from Cardan’s point of view. Basically rehashing the story just through a different character. Because, to me, if you’re just writing the story again but from a different characters perspective then you probably should have just included their point of view in the original story rather than just rewriting the story again. Thankfully this book on had a few scenes from the series that were from Cardan’s point of view. And they weren’t even the whole thing, just little snippets that added to the story of this novella.
