The Mira Event XS was a good match and I found I could use some of the original holes in the tiles for the shower head rail. The fit was easy enough since everything was in the same place. I found the temperature control knob very difficult to remove though. Im pleased with the new shower and with the customer service from Plumbworld. My Mira XS thermostatic has stopped working. The on/ off switch does my not stay on although the shower runs if I keep my finger on the on/off switch. I suspect a faulty on/off switch and I think that means a new Harness Assembly. Bought to replace one that had died, a real bonus that all fixings, electrical connections and water inlet tubes were in the same places as the one I bought in 2008. Just one negative, the top and bottom blanking covers are very loose fitting, the top one fell into the cavity wall and couldn't be retrieved, however the kind Customer Services person at Mira showers after laughing a my predicament sent replacements free of charge.
