The Smok Solus 2 pod vape kit is a compact and easy to use device, making it ideal for both experienced and beginner vapers. Thanks to its built-in 700mAh battery, it allows for long sessions of vaping. This kit also includes a 2ml Solus 2 pod which features a 0.9 Ohm built-in coil, so you'll only need some e-liquid to start vaping. I think Smok have boxed clever with this one but when placed alongside the slimmer Solus G pod kit it only really comes down to aesthetics. The mesh coil is sealed inside. It cannot be replaced and when it starts to taste burnt a new pod will be required.

The Smok Solus 2 replacement pods has a 2ml e-liquid capacity and is designed for use with the Smok Solus 2 vape kit. They support MTL (Mouth To Lung) vaping for a smaller amount of vapour that replicates the feeling of a cigarette, which is ideal for those switching from smoking to vaping. It also features a built-in coil design, which saves you the hassle of fiddly coil changes. The airflow restriction is bob on! If you’re after a quality MTL vape, the Smok Solus 2 pod should be on your hit list.

Expect to save a fair few pennies over disposable vapes. The Smok Solus G makes use of sealed pods but they’re refillable – with E-liquid flavours of your choice.

It’s a 50VG/50PG juice ratio containing 20mg salt nicotine. An ideal accompaniment for this low powered pod kit. MTL Vaping That would be a concern were it not for the transparent nature of the device. So E-liquid levels remain clearly visible throughout use. The Solus G Box comes complete with a Smok Solus 2 pod that features a built-in mesh coil, which heats up faster enhancing flavour production. This device is also compatible with the Smok Solus replacement pods. Both kinds of pods have a rubber stopper on the side which can be removed to reveal an e-liquid port for easy refilling. We recommend pairing this kit with e-liquids that feature a 50/50 or high PG concentration. Before you cry ‘kill joy’ I did it to prevent any unnecessary attention. Final Review Verdict

The device only weighs in at an extra 9g in comparison to the Solus G pod kit. The reduced height of the battery section does make the kit easier to cradle in the hand too. Oh! And if you’re worried about dropping or losing your vape, Smok have included a free lanyard. That’s pretty groovy too! Inside the Box A few new features have been added for this version – including two airflow settings. But the Solus still maintains its tradition of being a simple inexpensive pod kit. Auto draw works effortlessly and the device does feel comfortable in the hand. In fact, fans of disposable vapes are likely to feel very much at home.
