About this deal

Move the legs inward. There is a peg on the chest section that attaches to a corresponding port near the robot knees. As I mentioned on the stream, this might be my favorite studio series character of the year, at least from the Bayverse. I really hope you all enjoy him as much as I do! What do you all think, will he be joining your collection? Figure converts between robot and cannon mode in 17 steps. Perfect for fans looking for a more advanced converting figure. First revealed at New York Toy Fair 2018, Transformers Generations: Studio Series (aka Transformers: Studio Series), acts as a celebration under the Generations banner of over ten years of live-action movies, with characters from every movie represented. It has to date also coincided with Bumblebee and Rise of the Beasts, the sixth and seventh films in the live-action film series. Talk about an impossible design, a lot of the new characters introduced in Age of Extinction didn’t take transformation into consideration when hiding car parts amongst the robot forms. To make matters worse, they introduced a figure wearing a trench coat, turning car parts into pliable clothing.

Alright, let’s talk Brawn! This was such a fun evolution of the G1 design, but we definitely had our work cut out for us in delivering a convincing alt mode. There was a lot of influence in the CAD that aligned from the Cybertronian Bumblebee design, so I think there was some efficiencies used to bring him to life. Additionally, due to the scale of the figure, we needed to get a lot of rise out of the limbs. Ejima Takio did an amazing job of keeping the onscreen height of this character, while allowing it to collapse into an ultra compact vehicle form, that would let this figure maintain the deluxe scale price point. We got to work on an offload vehicle that could pull in some of the shapes that we were seeing across the robot design. We introduced a windshield to the form, to keep it in line with the rest of the BB movie figures, as well as familiar wheel faces wrapped in a more aggressive looking tire. Emiliano did an incredible job of bringing this vehicle form concept to life. ICONIC MODES: Figure features classic conversion between robot and Cybertronian hover spacecraft modes in 29 steps. Perfect for fans looking for a more advanced converting figure. For kids and adults ages 8 and upThere are fifteen points of articulation on this figure. That includes four on each arm and three on each leg. You can attach the weapon to either hand and it covers up the forearms, creating the illusion that he has a "gun arm" instead of a regular forearm with a fist at the end. The weapon is designed to accommodate Blast Effects, adding a bit of additional play value. SS Voyager ROTB Optimus Prime, Buzzworthy Bumblebee exclusive, only the tires and windshield are identical to the previous SS BB figure

Junkion Scrapheap and Buzzworthy Bumblebee Ironhide both use the 86-24 number, the first time the same number has been used for different characters between the two lines. While roughly Voyager-height (as stated before, he even reuses some parts from a Voyager Class figure), he is sold under the Leader Class price point, with the additional budget being devoted to his bulkier physique, large cannon, arm-blade, extensive paint applications, and also to a surprising three additionally included figurines: a scale accurate Brains, Wheelie, and the parachuting NEST soldier that obscures his face with a parachute made from clear white plastic film. I like how Brawn's drill from that one episode is being used for his movie incarnation's Cybertronian mode.

With an original cycle design established with the help of the insanely talented Emiliano Santalucia and access to the robot CAD model from the film, we were able to embark on our traditional development process in partnership with Shu Umezu at Takara Tomy. I don’t think Starscream has ever been lost for words, but in the Bumblebee film none of the Cybertronian seekers got any lines. Megatron is either a figure based off of I guess concept art of him for Bumblebee (which should exist since we know he was planned and then cut from the film), or he's G1 Megs (still with a tank mode according to Q&A commentary from the past)

I remember the excitement of seeing these bot designs for the first time, and getting amped about theatrical Transformers again. Once I rejoined the Transformers team a few years later, I knew that these we the bots that I wanted to bring to the line. Speaking of Ravage, is it just me or does it look like the "create a Decepticon" original artwork for Night Stalker as created by Jason Yeo? No I don't mean Nightstalker who's a redeco of Steeljaw and an Autobot. When are we getting Diaclone colored Topspin to go with Twintwist? 1. Presumably Earth/BB Hound, which also leads into my second response: Second (and perhaps most importantly), the leakers & people with insider info over there appear to be repeating the notion that some of these listings that say "MV6" (which is how they denote Bumblebee) are actually mislabeled SS86 products (which happened in the past with at least SS86 Core Wheelie, don't remember if it impacted anyone else). For those who haven't looked over there for the full listings, that means the following:

Studio Series has always allowed fans to reach past the big screen and build the ultimate Transformers collection inspired by iconic movie scenes from the Transformers movie universe. Now, the Studio Series line is expanding to include the epic moments and characters from the classic 1986 The Transformers: The Movie, bringing fans a whole new series of screen-inspired figures to collect! (Each sold separately. Subject to availability.) Yuki Hisashi had a hell of an undertaking in trying to bring this character to life, but I think he succeeded marvelously. This figure is a massive improvement from his premier edition release, and does a great job of modernizing the articulation, and introducing an articulated trench coat flaps to the front of the figure.
