Professor Astor” by Catharina Maura is a story that combines several tropes that will have her readers shedding happy tears and also crying as it is beautifully written. So many plot points were thrown at us without much closure—a big one relating to the murders of Aria and Noah’s parents. It was relevant until it wasn’t. I did, however, appreciate that Aria wasn’t completely healed from it. They've pranked each other for years and spent too much time in detention to mention. Only this time his prank not only got the police involved, but they were suspended for a week. A week in their rooms without any electronics.

I loved Aria and her struggles to find normalcy after finding both of her parents murdered in a home invasion. But, that vulnerability led to her being taken advantage of because she was tired of feeling broken. I HATED Brad from the first sentence he was mentioned. I knew immediately what he was doing, but it was only the beginning of his sins. He deserved much more than the punishment he received. Her boyfriend Brad is upset with her that she kept her friendship with Grayson a secret from him and begs her to use her friendship to get him an in at Grayson's software company. She hates taking advantage of their friendship, but doesn't know how to avoid it and keep Brad happy. I loved Grayson's protectiveness over Aria! That man would do everything for her. He was even jealous of himself (one of my favorite moments 😂). Following the brutal murder of her father and mother when she was a child, she set up a vigilante forum hoping to help others in such circumstances.
Catharina Maura’s “Until You” is a beautiful brother’s best friend romance novel. The lead is Aria a woman that for the longest time has been dreaming of living a normal life with a loving boyfriend, secure job, and loving boyfriend. However, the new job comes with many stipulations which he may find difficult to adhere to. He is never to sleep with the students or patients and most important of all, he is to stay away from the granddaughter of Harold Astor. Catharina Maura who is otherwise known as CA Maura when writing paranormal romance is a fantasy and paranormal romance author. Over the many years that she has been actively writing romance, she has made a reputation for writing bestselling billionaire romances that her readers love for the small hint of the forbidden. There’s also a part at the end that a lot of people have an issue with… myself included. They find out that the hero was conceived through rape and his birth mom unloads all her hurt on him when they meet. The author vilified his birth mom and made her say some hateful things that caused the hero a lot of emotional damage. I don’t think it’s unbelievable that his birth mom might not have wanted a relationship with him, but I think the author took it a step too far when she became a villain who ruins the hero’s life while he’s trying to help her catch her rapist. It was a pretty cheap way to create angst and drama in the story and I think it could have been done without her involvement or trying to make a rape victim into a villain. It’s a gross way to progress the story imo. I enjoyed the epilogue so much and I'm so looking forward to Noah's story. I loved how Dr. Grant and Amara met, I snorted when I read it!!!Together with his sister, they had been forced to live a life of struggle. Noah becomes a doctor to honor his father’s legacy as he starts working at Astor College in what has always been his dream job.

I finally read something by Catharina Maura and I started with her Off-Limits Series and that was a great decision because this series is just phenomenal. And not only are the covers super pretty, but it matches the amazing stories. The beginning was absolutely my favorite part. Grayson was curt and stoic except for when it came to his connection to Aria and Noah. I loved the relationship the three of them shared, all of them protective, considerate, and caring of the others, their own little family.At the opening of the story, Adrian has just met a distraught Leia in a bar and decided to engage in some role play which ends in an awesome night that none of them have ever had. Thankfully, she is offered a dream job by the best friend of her brother and she readily accepts it. His brother’s best friend is a man named Greyson who has had a tragic past and considers aria and her brother Noah his only family.
