I don’t recommend them for daily wear if you need a lot of support, the soles are thin and flat which is great for skateboarding but not for long walks. It’s fine to wear them for a day but I noticed my feet started to feel a bit sore, specifically my heels (heel bruise veteran here). This is just me though if you don’t have any issues or old injuries they are probably fine for walking.

I [thought], "it's kinda touchy, you know what I mean, like?" It's kind of weird, you know? Tony's kid, he rides for Birdhouse. But I look at it [and] I picture him on Baker, you know what I mean? So we just approached Tony [and said] "We want to talk to Riley about maybe getting [him] some Baker boards or something like that." And Tony's like, "Man, he's rippin'. He's nineteen years old. It's really up to him. You guys talk to him." So we just kind of said, "You wanna get some boards?" He's like, "I'm down, man!" And [the way] I look at it, there would be no Baker without Tony and Birdhouse. I know it's an ongoing process, you know? Tony quits to start Birdhouse. I quit to start Baker. My guys quit to start a new brand. It's just an ongoing thing. [30] Classics: Andrew Reynolds S.O.T.Y." Thrasher Magazine. High Speed Productions, Inc. 10 November 2009. Archived from the original on 19 December 2013 . Retrieved 22 October 2012.In the beginning, Reynolds needed a design that would absorb the impact. But the enduring impact came from his attention to detail. Unfortunately, Andrew Reyolds left Emerica so I wonder how long these shoes will still be available. 4. Etnies Marana (Cupsole) I guess maybe just both. It's not like one-on-one, but it's like you can see how you would like both of those models.

There are a couple of insoles you get additionally just remember that they only last for a couple of months if you skate regularly. After while they can’t deal with impacts as much. Shoe Cut for Wider Feet Unfortunately skateboarders with 2E+ have limited options, none of the skate shoe brands offer them because of the limited demand. I would suggest to look at specific brands that make 2E+ shoes and see if you can find shoes made of suede. s “Reynolds 2,” and Emerica’s This Is Skateboarding one year later, sealed the deal. Comfortable and durable, and with that padded tongue, The Reynolds 2 was a kinder, gentler cupsole—more flexible yet still providing some heel protection. A skater like Reynolds needed all of the cushion he could get and, psychologically, the average consumer was already connecting the dots: “If I get the Reynolds 2, then I can also jump down shit.” This was a case where the shoe really could sell itself without any additional marketing. Just watch Reynolds skate—the proof is in the pudding. Without the huge puffy tongue and the really padded shoe. That whole era was crazy. When I bring one out now and look at it, I'm like, "I can't believe we thought this was a thin shoe." Let's try a few different shades of brown that don't really match,” Reynolds says about how he came about the shoe’s design. This shoe feels light with its synthetic material, yet highly durable. After a few skating sessions, the toe and ollie area showed very minimal wear. The Ndurance outsole helps avoid flat spots. Along with the abrasion-resistant suede, it accounts for the increased durability. The shoelaces remain intact despite the prolonged use, which is another plus. He also has his own signature shoe on the way. We had the chance to talk to him recently about all of it. Read the interview below. In the event of a potential manufacturing fault we reserve the right to return the item to the manufacturer for further assessment.

and then Tony's just, like, Tony Hawk. Basically, to me, it says, "You can be a skater and take over everything and use skateboarding to be a businessman, a role model to young people." He's just the best. And he called my house when I was fifteen, and [asked] "Do you wanna do something with us?", not knowing anything about me. Yeah, Tony's the man. Sure, he's the best. [30] The Lakai Griffin shoes are recommended by many skaters with wide feet. I did not try these myself and (again) I recommend to fit them at your local shop before you decide to buy them. As of December 2022, Reynolds is sponsored by Baker Skateboards, New Balance, Spitfire Wheels, Brigada, Independent, Shake Junt, Stance. [23] [24] [25] [26] [27] "Madness" [ edit ]
