About this deal

Her daughter was adorable. Also I’m a big fan of the single parent trope and loved the daughter from the very first moment. What’s that face you’re making? Fizzy drew an imaginary circle around Jess’s expression. I’m blanking on the word. Because I immortalized you as the villain in Crimson Lace, and you became a fan favorite, so I can’t kill you off." Okay, Universe, Jessica thought. I get it. If Mrs. Brady could be a trailblazer, maybe it was time for Jess to try, too. TWO You have such a crush on Americano,” Fizzy said. “Do you realize you watch him whenever he comes in here?”

Fizzy felt like a caricature. I think the intention was to make her this sex positive woman but instead it was actually her entire personality and it made her feel like this creeper instead. Conor just didn't have a personality and seemed to fall in love with Fizzy bc she was trying to jump his bones at every opportunity. The characters talked so gibberish when they mention about their professions. As Jess talks about statistics or River makes explanations about genetics I felt like my head may explode because of information bombardment! Those parts made me lose my interest about the story. I’m a big fan of Christina Lauren books. My most beloved is still Love and Other Words, but I also adore Josh and Hazel as a couple. But The Soulmate Equation was everything I was hoping for. The Soulmate Equation is about a single mom named Jess, who works as a freelance statistician and is obsessed with data and numbers. She lives with her 7-year old daughter, Juno, in an apartment right across from her grandmother and grandfather, who raised her. The more I think about The Soulmate Equation the more I struggle with what to rate it and how to review it. The problem is there were so many things I loved about this book. I loved a lot of the characters, the familial aspects, the premise of the story was compelling and I wanted to love this one. I honestly thought it could be a five star favorite at the start, but there were a few things that just didn't work for me personally.

You also have grandparents who live next door and are more than happy to watch her while you’re on a date, and a best friend who thinks your kid is cooler than you are. We all just want you to be happy.” Matchmaking? Jess asked. The same Americano who is a regular here in this coffee shop and yet never smiles at anyone? She pointed behind her to the door he’d exited through only a minute ago. " That guy? With his intense hotness marred by the moody, antisocial filter?"

Fizzy began peeling the paper off her muffin. “What I was going to say is that you can’t throw in the towel because of one bad date.” Felicity offered a dainty hand as if for him to kiss and, after a beat of confused hesitation, Americano gripped her fingertips for a brief handshake. The Soulmate Equation by Christina Lauren is a heartwarming, humorous, and appealing contemporary romance. Christina Lauren is the pen name for writing duo Christina Hobbs and Lauren Billings. Juno went quiet behind her, and understanding dropped like a weight in Jess’s chest. She turned to find her kid wearing the enormous-eyed expression of preemptive begging. Juno, baby, no.Well, you can have him. Frowning, Jess watched him do his customary wipe of the condiment bar with a napkin. I was just thinking how I can’t fathom the idea that he’s starting a matchmaking company. That isn’t something an asshole like that does.

Okay. Her friend returned with her drink and a huge blueberry muffin, and took a moment to get situated. Where was I?Can Connor pull off a wildly successful reality show and save his career? More importantly, will Fizzy at last find her love?
