Juke in mass quantities can cause a lot of heartache for an opponent. Juke in combination with free Jams even more so. Thanks to the dial on the Whisper, Nightfall can 5-k through a group of enemy ships, potentially passing out lots of double jam goodness. If you can cause some collisions, next turn he can five straight through them again, clear his stress, and fire out of his rear arc. When he can’t fly through them, he can always just use the jam action, though he won’t be able to also evade to use his juke. RZ-1 A-WING The ship also has a sensor-confusing technology that allows it to be undetected by enemies, making it appropriated for stealth operations, besides being capable of extended hyperspace transit. The wings are equipped with laser cannons, heavy cannons, and a heavy weapons turret which has heavy lasers and mag-pulses. After recovering, Skerris was placed as the commander of Defender Squadron One, and led the unit in engaging Grysk Hegemony forces while Thrawn and the Sith Lord Darth Vader completed their mission on the planet Batuu and later the planet Mokivj. The pilot was later selected to fly a new prototype fighter, the TIE/D Defender Elite, by Thrawn on the planet Lothal. However, Skerris did not get a chance to demonstrate its capabilities to the Grand Admiral when the ship was stolen by Wren and and her rebel cohort Ezra Bridger. Subsequently, Thrawn allowed the rebels to demonstrate its prowess and later authorized its destruction after he was satisfied with the results.

Other foes, like those overreliant on rerolls—Harpoon caddies or the Inquisitor, say—get into trouble fighting this card. It gets stronger still if your list has other cards that deny actions, strip tokens, or force expenditures. Perhaps you want more consistency from a four point card, and that’s fair. Still, if you’re going full Cadillac on your Silencer, Jammer is a useful defensive option. [6] Due to that status, Skerris was personally selected by Thrawn to fly the TIE Defender prototype and pursue Senator Mothma and her rebel allies through the Archeon Nebula. Flying his TIE, he was able to engage multiple enemy fighters without suffering damage to his ship thanks to its shielding. Despite his skills, however, Skerris' starfighter was disabled by Jon Vander, with Ezra Bridger's assistance, and it spun out of control. [3] Due to his piloting skills, he field tested a unique starfighter known as the TIE silencer—following in the tradition of Imperial ace pilots, such as Vult Skerris and Darth Vader, who flew prototype fighters. [1] Ren utilized the silencer in his mission to destroy the Resistance. [3] Although Kylo Ren's TIE silencer was originally planned by the Industrial Light & Magic VFX team to feature missile pods on its underside and shoot them off, VFX supervisor Mike Mullholland revealed that during the film's early development, director Rian Johnson received an early prototype of the TIE silencer's toy version by Hasbro Inc., so the FFX team were forced to redesign the fighter. [10] The ship doesn’t stand out until you look at its Configuration. Enhanced Jamming Suite makes the Whisper play differently than other ships. Jam becomes a central element of play. There aren’t a lot of ships that can jam, but even among those, jam is often a red action. But for the Whisper, Jam is not only white, but it is white after being a linked action. No longer do you need to choose between getting a die mod or denying your opponent a die mod. Focus and link to jam for both. Or boost into range one so you can be in range to jam. Ironically, with the emphasis on jamming, it makes the Silencer and Whisper want to swap names. The Whisper jams, ie silences, its targets.Impressive though the A-wing Pilot is, I have no doubt that Kylo Ren will be the highlight of this set for many collectors. This version of the fallen Jedi is based upon his appearance in Star Wars: The Last Jedi so features a deep scar and sunken eyes which look suitably evil. The head is printed with two different expressions to reflect Kylo's emotional turmoil, one of which looks fairly calm while the other shows the character in a furious rage! Both minifigures look marvellous and seeing Kylo Ren in a set of this size is a delight, even though his cape is absent. Tallie Lintra is only available here so is also very appealing, especially given the consistently high standard of LEGO Rebel and Resistance pilot minifigures.
