About this deal

Phase 3 is is a mixture of action Cybertron and Earth. One of it’s distinct features is that it crosses over with a number of Hasbro properties.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen Official Movie Adaptation (2009) — A four-part comic adaptation of the film, released weekly in May and June 2009. The Transformers: Best of UK: Time Wars (2008) — [5 issues] Reprints the UK " Time Wars" saga and other stories. Yet another revamp was attempted with two concurrent ongoing series, More Than Meets The Eye and Robots In Disguise beginning in 2012, later dubbed "Phase 2". Positive fan response came at last, and the writers of those books ( James Roberts and John Barber) would continue to be the main writers of the universe until its conclusion in late 2018. Idea and Design Works, LLC is a publishing company that held the Transformers comic book license from May 2005 through December 2022. Their tenure followed the financial collapse of previous license holder Dreamwave Productions at the tail-end of 2004. (IDW's license excluded manga; those rights are handled by Viz Media in the English-language market.)Collects: The Transformers: Infestation #1-2, The Transformers (2009 series) #7-18, and Ironhide #1-4 Of course, neat-freak Windsweeper is the one to mention what a "mess" Megatron and Starscream are making while they fight.

Hasbro exclusive cover: Cropped-in version of cover RI, exclusively available with Generations Deluxe Class Megatron The Transformers: The Best of Simon Furman (2007) — Hardcover collection reprinting Simon Furman-written stories from Marvel, Dreamwave and IDW. Note: This was a collaborative crossover between Marvel and IDW during a time when both the Transformers and New Avengers series were red hot. Due to licensing issues, this one can be hard to come by.

Sixshot destroys an orbital Autobot research facility for its top-secret information, and the Throttlebots, the station's lone survivors, flee to the planet below and discover an abandoned Cybertronian city. Before they can escape, Sixshot finds them and pursues them through the city, informing them that Megatron freed him from Jhiaxus's control following the Expansion in exchange for the undead scientist's technology. The Decepticon super-warrior injures three of the six Throttlebots, but the city suddenly grows a gigantic arm and smashes Sixshot into the ground. The Throttlebots are amazed to see Sixshot stand up intact, but the city fully transforms into the ancient Titan Metroplex and stomps Sixshot into oblivion. Metroplex sadly informs the Throttlebots he cannot help them, as he must remain focused on his own mission, but directs them to a shuttle with medical supplies before departing the planet. The Throttlebots wonder what information Metroplex is protecting as they too leave, unaware that the crushed Sixshot is, in fact, still alive. Windblade would introduce the lost colony world of Caminus, where female and male Transformers naturally coexisted. This would lead into the idea that ancient Cybertron did have female Transformers, but had lost them for unknown reasons. Rather than a Frankensteinian attempt to force gender on the species, Jhiaxus's experiments were an effort to reintroduce a lost element of Cybertronian society. The Transformers: The IDW Collection Compendium, Vol. 1 ( July 6, 2016) ISBN 163140637X / ISBN 978-1631406379
