The United States Library of Congress preserved Enter the Dragon in The National Film Registry in 2004 as a "culturally, historically, or aesthetically significant" film. Also, Bruce Lee was selected as one of Time Magazine's "100 most influential people of the century" in 1999. The movie was made before any type of HD existed so the best things will get come from the original tapes/film.....Everything else will contain some type of enhanced sound and picture, which is okay if that is what you like. All that was mentioned was the cine edition was likely to sell out before release date that's not until September (There is 3 months still to go before release date)

It's difficult to know which cut they will go with preserving here. I think every release Warner has put out themselves since 1998 has been the special edition cut, with the theatrical not re-surfacing on disc in the West until Criterion put their Bruce Lee set together. With that said, there's chance they'll do a Superman and restore and present the theatrical cut in 4k, and leave the special edition to the bundled Blu-ray which will no doubt be the 2013 disc recycled.

Enter The Dragon was resubmitted and classified at 18 for video in 2001, with all previous cuts (both to violence and weapons) fully restored.
