About this deal

I would most definitely recommend the Mamia nappy to my mummy friends because first and foremost it offers super absorbency, my son can wear his nappy for over 12 hours at night and we've not had any leaks. The fit is really comfortable on my 6 month old, not leaving any marks and not irritating his sensitive skin. I don't have to worry about any leaks or messes with these nappies and my little boy even wears them overnight without any leaks. They fit my baby really well, the line that goes blue when the nappy is wet is a brilliant feature as I only have to peak at it to know when he needs changing instead of pulling the napoy to the side.

Amy: This nappy performs well and is reliable which makes life easier when having a baby. It contains even the messiest of nappies meaning no extra clothes are needed. Extra washing is the last thing I need. It looks good and is easy to get on when my child isn’t rolling around like a crocodile. I did find it moved about a lot in comparison to my usual brand but my little one doesn’t like to keep still so that could be the reason. The Mamia nappy range makes my life so much easier as a mum because I can have piece of mind that my children are wearing a nappy that contains all of their business. It also means I'm not being woken in the night by an upset little one whose nappy has leaked and therefore reducing my washing load which is a life saver. This nappy is without a doubt the best nappy I have used for my little boy. The price, quality and comfort are definite winners for me. I would recommend them to any of the parents of the children I look after at nursery. A lot of my parents struggle for money and these nappies would be great for them. The main reason parents decide against disposables and opt for reusable nappies is the environmental impact. Around eight million nappies are thrown into landfill waste each day in the UK, and may take hundreds of years to decompose. On average, switching from disposable to reusable cuts carbon emissions from nappy use by a quarter.

Tested by mum Natalie Betts for the M&B Awards 2017:

We spoke to these real parent testers to get their review... How did this product make your life easier? Sandra: We will definitely be getting these nappies again. We usually use pampers, which are much more expensive but find that these are not only cheaper but I think that they feel nicer too.

We go with Aldi nappies every time! I used them from newborn to size 6+ with my son, and am now using them again with my daughter. They are great value for money and, in my opinion, are better than some of the more expensive brands.” The award-winning Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ Nappies provide your baby up to 12 hours day & night protection. These feature Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ technology which provides fast absorption, distributes liquid evenly and helps prevent sagging. They are soft & breathable for your baby's soft skin. A slim design allows free movement, and the resealable fasteners and super stretchy sides ensure a snug and secure fit. Mamia Ultra-Dry Air System™ Nappies are dermatologically accredited by the Skin Health Alliance for added peace of mind. They contain 0%* perfume and are lotion free* and latex** free. Sarah: I would unfortunately not choose this nappy above the other on the market as although they are more inexpensive I do feel as though the quality of the material reflects this and they did feel a bit more flimsy when they were fitted onto baby. I think due to this they did tend to leak when they had been used overnight or for long periods of time whereas other brands which fit better do not. Here they are, side my side. Aldi’s Mamia to the left and Pampers to the right. They look quite similar here, size-wise at least. The price is so accessible for parents compared to other brands on the market and they offer the best absorbency and comfort for both our boys. Lidl also sells a premium range which the discount supermarket claims offers advanced comfort, fit and flexibility. These nappies come in sizes one to five.

Both brands promise up to 12 hours of dryness meaning your baby’s bum and nappy should be nice and dry after a full night. We usually use Aldi’s Mamia and have never ever had a wee leak with them. We use them overnight for 12 hours and have never had a problem. Mamia nappies live up to their promise and really do offer 12 hours of dryness. The nappy feels dry and my daughter’s bum is dry and rash free after 12 hours in a Mamia nappy. Loren: Yes definitely as they are such great value and do exactly what you expect them to do. Considering how active my baby is now, they moved well with her body. They were easy to put on and to dispose of. I am not overly keen on the pattern but that wouldn’t put me off buying them again in the future. Would you choose this product above all others on the market? These nappies seem to absorb liquid better than other brands and therefore my little boy has needed changing less. They are seems softer than other brands making my little boy more comfortable. They last the full night as long as my little one is just seeing which makes night times much easier. No need to disturb my little man to change him. Our Mamia Ultra Dry Size 4 Maxi nappies offer great quality and incredible value for money. Mamia Nappies have a contoured design, are dermatologically tested, hypoallergenic and provide comfort night and day for up to 12 hours.” Tested by mum Katie Roast for the Mother & Baby awards 2018: These nappies are the definition of value for money. As a new mother and a new resident in the UK, one easily gets caught up in the lifestyle of expensive prams, car seats, and cots – it’s so hard to know what to believe, so to come across an item that will not break the bank and is excellent quality is rare. These nappies are worth their weight in gold.

Would you choose this product above all others on the market?

We wouldn't change anything about these nappies – we love them! Tested by mum Sasha Bell for the Mother & Baby awards 2018: Although convenient and absorbent, disposables have their downsides. Most of them contain bleaching agents, dyes, latex, and other plastics. All nappies are tested before they go on sale, so although the materials are not harmful, if your baby has sensitive skin or allergies, there is a small chance of a reaction to the chemicals they contain. In many cases, swapping to a different brand will help avoid this issue.
