Each 9-inch figure converts from alt mode to robot mode in 3 steps by smashing! On the bridge of the Ark, Optimus was alerted to Windblade having stolen the AllSpark and made for a nearby planet. Taking Cheetor, Bumblebee, and Hot Rod with him, Optimus followed the cityspeaker through an an abandoned city, facing off against a horde of automated defences, as an entity guided Windblade to bring the AllSpark to the city centre. Though the quartet caught up to Windblade, they were too late to prevent her from opening the AllSpark. To their surprise however, the entity revealed itself as a Titan, Croaton. Revealing that the city was once a Cybertronian colony, Croaton apologized for the trouble he'd caused before he returned the Autobots their shuttle and went on his way. Ghost Town To transform the figure, hold the legs and push the figure down. The first time you do this the upper body will rotate around. The second time you do this the arms will swing down. Finally on the third push the head will swing up. This is most effective if you "smash" the figure down on a flat, hard surface but don't go overboard. It doesn't take too much strength to activate the transformation. The "Big" Hasbro investors event was today but sadly, there wasn't much in it for fans. There was indeed a trailer for Rise of the Beasts but it was a closed door event, it wasn't released for the general public. There were a few slides pertaining to Rise of the Beasts. They unveiled Optimus's "new" look, which is mostly the look we had already seen both in Bumblebee and in previously revealed merchandise. The big difference are those plates above his chest windows.

Silent Strike This mode shows off the beast mode head more, showing off dark blue colors on the face and chest. Brown still features heavily in this form and the large Maximal symbol on his right shoulder is very prominent. The eyes are painted green and several parts are painted silver. From a deco perspective, the figure may not be screen accurate, but it does look good.
