About this deal

It's the same at 1440p, so at least in this game it doesn't matter which model you use, performance will be the same.

You can’t exclusively control the AMD Wraith Prism RGB through Razer Chroma. However, if you have any Razer peripherals, you can sync their RGB with your AMD Wraith Prism cooler. With that statement, AMD seems to confirm that this is not a simple case of edited images making the rounds, but of actual illegitimate products "entering the market." If you're installing the Wraith Prism cooler into an existing system, and you previously removed the old CPU cooler, you want to make sure the top of the CPU is clean of any old thermal paste (or general dust and debris). Use a lint-free cloth and isopropyl alcohol if you need to wipe off any thermal paste residue from the previous cooler.

The Ryzen 9 7900 is a nice CPU, but it doesn't make much sense for gamers. You're much better off with the single CCD Ryzen 7 parts, and for productivity you might as well get the 7950X, or 13900K, though power usage and thermal issues make the Core i9 a lot less practical as a productivity CPU. Bottom Line When CLC pump fails you have no cooling so system cannot be used until new cooler is installed. If air cooler fan dies cooler still works at low load, and any fan can be held on with rubber bands until replacement fan is in hand. Running Blender for an hour increases the Wraith Prism load temperature to 57 degrees. That's a 10 degree increase over what we saw when gaming. The fan speed also increased to 2000 RPM but even here the Prism was still basically silent. This time the Wraith Spire was 8 degrees hotter than the Prism as temps hit 65 degrees, though that's still very cool by all accounts and again the fan only spun at 2000 RPM. If you are just dipping your toes into the PC building water, then this is going to be a great option for you. It has a ton of personalization choices, future-proofing, and it is really easy to install. It isn’t going to be the best choice for people who are gaming or pushing their systems. Product Comparison: Wraith Prism Vs Hyper 212First off, the Aerocool P7 L240 has monstrous thermal efficiency capabilities since it’s rated at a TDP (Thermal Design Process) of 380W, which is almost 6x the TDP of a Ryzen 7 3700X. Subsequently, it offers excellent performance thanks to dual 120mm Aerocool P7-F12 fans, coupled with a comparably low noise output of 31.8 dB(A). As mentioned earlier, we have tested the Ryzen 9 7900 against the standard Ryzen 9 7950X and 7900X, and an Intel Core i7-13700 that we happen to get our hands on by chance to gauge the performance of this CPU. Test System CPU

I suggested numerous air coolers at different prices points in the first post I made. There's a link to a post by damric. Higher power consumption also means higher heat production, and this is evident in the thermal test we perform in Cinebench. It shows the Ryzen 7 7700 at just 71 degrees Celsius (C) to the Core i5-13600K’s 85 degrees C. That’s a 20% increase in temperature from the Ryzen 7 7700 to the Core i5-13600K even with both processors being cooled by identical coolers. The RGB is a great feature of this cooler with the incredibly pleasing-to-look-at digital and boi CF120 RGB fans. The 16.7M RGB flowing light system offers a wide variety of color combinations. The radiator has an improved reactor-looking design and infinity mirror glass on the sides, which adds to the aesthetic and overall build quality. We'll just show you compression and decompression performance for 7-Zip, but in short the margins are similar to what we saw in Cinebench R23. That is to say the 7600 was typically 3% slower than the 7600X, and the same was also true for the 7700 vs 7700X, while the 7900 was up to 8% slower than the 7900X.

But how much cooler are we running with the DeepCool Castle 360EX? Quite a bit cooler, it turns out. It also meant when compared to the 7900X, the 7900 is far better when it comes to power efficiency. The 7900X pushed total system usage 50% higher for a 12% performance increase. Gaming Benchmarks This is one of the most impressive CPU coolers that you can buy, if you are able to find it. While this cooler does come included with some AMD processors, it can be a bit more difficult to find for some people. But before we do that, we thought it would be a good idea to showcase what kind of a difference upgraded cooling makes in gaming and application performance. Today's testing was conducted with the Ryzen 9 3900X on the Gigabyte X570 Aorus Xtreme using DDR4-3200 CL14 memory and an MSI RTX 2080 Ti Gaming X Trio. When you are using your computer, you don’t want to hear an airplane jet sound when you are trying to stream content or storm a fort. Both of these coolers are quiet under normal stress loads, but once you get them started working on serious cooling, you still start to hear some noise from both of them.
