About this deal

Using PowerIQ technology, the USB-A ports intelligently output up to 36W, and the USB-C port can provide up to 60W with its PowerIQ 3.0 to fast charge your phone. So no more slow charging your phone or laptop as with a basic power bank. Thanks to the LED display on the front of the unit, you can see how much power is going in, out, the remaining capacity, and approximately how long you'll have power. My biggest surprise came as I tested the light ring I had for my lightbox, it drew roughly 40w of power even though its suppose to be low powered lights and are only suppose to draw between 5 and 10w. I then plugged it into a standard outlet and noticed the lights were dimmer and not as bright as when plugged into the powerhouse. This is when i realized the powerhouse was overpowering the lights and its regulator was failing when plugged into the powerhouse. So I stopped using the lights and chalked it up to them failing. My other test came when using my 3D printer which drew around 230w of power and ran consistently until the powerhouse died, I am thankful my printer has auto resume as I was able to plug it into a wall outlet and continue printing my parts. I didnt get any pictures of this or its run time because I had left it to run while I was at work and came home and plugged it in. My cpap machine lasted only 3 hours when plugged into the powerhouse which is longer than I had expected it to, but its also because I didn’t run the dehumidifier on it which draws significantly more power.

Do you plan to buy the best Anker PowerHouse? Then, you might have heard that Anker holds the pride of being a global leader in charging technology. Apart from Anker Portable Power Station, this brand makes a wide range of devices for wireless charging, car charging, and even the best-selling wall and portable chargers. The company uses pioneering power delivery technology for charging laptops, tablets, and phones at a very high speed. I know many people that have a company laptop and go into the field to do their job. Some employers provide inverters that plug into the vehicle to keep the computer from dying; others don't. Keeping your laptop powered for your job is a great use of this unit, and all the other features are just icing on the cake. With this 213 Wh generator from Anker, you can pump power for your small appliances, computers, emergency equipment, and mobile devices. You can get your MacBook Pro charged more than five times, while you can recharge your phone over 12 times. Even after recharging this unit completely, you can run your small appliances like a mini-fridge for more than four hours. This power station’s built-in AC wall outlet, similar to otherRV generatorsfrom this brand, uses a Pure Sine Wave Inverter. It means you can expect a power output from this device as if you are getting a power output from your home.

This beast of a mini generator doesn’t have the noise nor the hassle of a combustion engine and yet will keep up with generators of the same power output. The AC200P is capable of charging 17 (!) devices simultaneously. The control panel features six 110V household outlets, four DC outputs from 3A to 25A, four USB ports, and two wireless charging pads on the top surface.

Some of Anker's competitors offer a higher wattage, which could sway some potential buyers towards alternative options—but bear in mind that those other, more powerful options usually come with a bigger price tag. Alternatively, if you want to stay with Anker, you could upgrade to the Anker PowerHouse II 800, which has an improved 770W output, two AC outlets, two USB Type-C ports (see my next point!), and dual-input charging for rapid recharge. With regard to power output and depending on the draw needed, a mini generator may last up all day long. The best of the bunch can run personal medical equipment or an LED television for many hours. Recharging one of these units will take anywhere from 12 to 24 hours. The price per Watt provided is going to be higher with a mini generator but any time you miniaturize anything, it's going to be more expensive because of the convenience. But they're ultra-small, compact, and easy to use. For any sort of trip requiring lighting and device charging, a mini generator is a great choice. PowerHouse II 400 portable power station, 65W Adapter, DC to Car Port Cable, USB-A to USB-C Cable, USB-C to USB-C Cable, and welcome guide.

First I want to thank @ankerofficial and staff for selecting me to test this powerhouse out, and also for allowing me some extended time for review. With that said I do apologize to everyone who has been waiting for my review, I was suppose to have it up and posted last week but I let time get away from myself as I got caught up with life issues and work. Years, that is, if you treat your machine well. Store your mini generator in a cool, dry place and you'll enjoy it for a very long time. But keep it in your hot, humid, damp garage and you'll need to replace it in a few months, not years. This is the case for any sort of electronics gear you own.Plugging anything in lights up the display and shows you the current battery charge and the runtime remaining, so you can see exactly how long you can use your devices. When you’re done, you can use the individual power buttons to toggle each section (car, USB and AC). Second up, although the PowerHouse does have a substantial array of ports, swapping out at least one of the USB Type-A ports for a second USB Type-C might have been the better call, given how many devices now use the latter. It's not an absolute game-changer, but worth considering.

If we're talking about the lifespan of a mini generator, that also depends on a number of factors. Like much smaller portable power banks, how long they'll continue to serve will be dictated by how often they're drained and recharged.
