About this deal

Our scaffold towers feature two wheels to facilitate moving. The bracing is fully colour coded, which facilitates erection and ensures that the tower is correctly assembled and braced. We also furnish stabiliser bars with a footprint that's larger than our competitors'. We're pleased to offer our popular aluminium tower with ultra strong 40mm diameter tubing that delivers exceptional strength. Assembly is quite simple and straightforward. The tower comes in 4 sizes and can be used indoors as well as outdoors. It has a maximum safe working load of 150kg. The platform is adjustable in 300mm increments. End height adjustment is included. This means the tower can be deployed on stairs. Finally, the tower comes from an ISO 9001:2008 manufacturer. The ISO 9000 set of standards represent international agreement on a set of quality standards. The result? Better products and better accountability. This tower offers great value for the price.

Stabiliser bars fitted to each end of the tower give a large footprint to deliver the greatest possible stability when in use Scaffold towers eliminate the risk of slipping, which can happen with ladders; this is due to them being a free-standing structure. To fight rust and corrosion, the steel rails have all been given a galvanised coating, something that is very much needed considering how much time it’ll spend outside in the British weather. In addition to the coating, Top Tower have ensured the longevity of their tower scaffold with some top-notch welding, and are so confident in it, they have given a lifetime guarantee. Fully welded frame structure, normally only ever seen on more expensive industrial towers, for supreme strength and therefore safety and durabilityAssembly is pretty straightforward, even though the instructions could be a lot better. Still, with the help of mate, it didn’t take me long to get it set up. towers come fully loaded with an additional trapdoor platform, further braces and handrails and 4 large telescopic outriggers. These 2 sizes are ideal for decorating the outside of most two storey homes Scaffold Towers have large work platforms, which can comfortably fit a worker and any necessary tools and materials, while at the same time being both rigid and stable. Our NEW HOME MASTER DIY Aluminium Scaffold Tower has an unprecedented specification and build quality for this type of tower, with its welded frames giving supreme strength and colour coded braces making assembly fast and easy. Safe, stable and versatile, this tower will complement any home "tool kit" and is available in four sizes to suit almost every application from decorating your stairs to painting the outside of your house or pruning trees.

Tower uprights have a "ribbed " non-slip profile for extra safety when climbing or erecting/dismantling the tower Many people often assume that scaffold towers are only for outdoor use, and mainly for tradespeople who carry out a lot of construction work, but this is not the case. DIY scaffold towers from BPS are extremely versatile for both indoor and outdoor tasks. For example, with our Home Master DIY scaffold tower, you can use it partly erect - which would suit indoor DIY like decorating rooms or ceilings - or you can fully erect it for outdoor use, such as painting your house and gardening. In general, aluminium and steel have historically been the materials of choice for scaffold towers, fibre glass has also become an option for Zone 1 requirements, but an aluminium scaffold tower has generally been accepted to be the lightest, most practical and durable form of scaffolding tower in recent years. Towers made from either of these metals are sound and reliable. For work around electrical sources, however, glass fibre towers should be used, since they will not conduct an electric current the way steel and aluminium do. If cost is a consideration, then steel is the better choice, since it's less expensive than aluminium. When buying scaffold towers, though, it's important to consider the application carefully. Regardless of what material you choose, be sure that it conforms with the BS EN1004 standard. If the tower comes from another country, be sure it carries a comparable rating. If the tower comes from Germany, for example, it should have a TUV mark. For large scale home DIY jobs like decorating, pruning your trees and washing your windows, a ladder may not always be the best choice. A DIY scaffold tower will offer you more freedom of movement to carry out a task which is especially important if you need to be at height for a longer period of time. A lot of modern DIY scaffolds are made from high grade aluminium, and this material has its benefits. It is very lightweight, which makes assembly much less hard work, and it has fantastic anti-corrosion properties, so you know the product will withstand the elements well.Inclusive free next day delivery on top of an unbeatable price – beware of “hidden” delivery charges or slow 2,3,4 or even 5 day delivery times! For your safety - Tower is climbed internally through a trap door in the platform which is then lowered and becomes part of the platform Storage and transport of your tower is super easy due to its compact design and aluminium (therefore lightweight) components

For all us sane folk, that probably doesn’t sound like the safest way to get things done, and so we usually call some scaffolders around and get the pros to do it, and there’s nothing wrong with that. Except for the expense that is. Despite its lightweight nature, the Home Master tower scaffold can handle up to 150kg, due in no small part to the high-quality welds found throughout, and the wide base stabiliser bars. The Home Master DIY scaffold tower is one of the easiest to set up that I have ever gotten my hands on. The lightweight aluminium components are a doddle to move around, and little, thoughtful, design features like the colour coded braces, make things really straightforward.Obviously, these products come in different heights, but there is more to it than meets the eye. In fact, there are two measurements that you need to know about a tower scaffold. The first, which is the one used in the product description, is the overall height of the structure. The second, and the most important in my opinion, is the maximum height of the standing platform, which is usually a couple of metres lower. So, you need to work out if you can stand on that platform, and reach up safely to the height that you need to work at. In other words, if you need to be able to reach 6 metres and be able to work without stretching, you need a scaffolding tower that is at least 7 metres tall overall. Maximum load

Once set up, the working platform can be height adjusted in increments of 300mm, and the structure can even be used, partially erected, and this gives you a lot of options and outstanding versatility. Scaffold towers, sometimes referred to as access towers or a tower scaffold, are highly useful alternatives to ladders when there's a lot of work to be done at height. At first sight, DIY scaffolding towers all look very similar, and of course there are similarities due to the very nature of the products. Having said that, there are definitely a few differences to be found, and knowing which of these factors are desirable and which ones are essential, is highly important before buying. In this guide we’d like to point these out to any first-time buyer, so that you can feel more confident in your purchasing decision. Size Scaffold towers are self-supporting, meaning they do not need to be leaned against any wall or building, the very benefit that makes a mobile scaffold tower such a practical form of high level access.Even though the tower does come with stabilisers, it is still very lightweight and so doesn’t feel quite as stable as a steel tower scaffold, and I would still advise tying on to a building, or using some extra structural support, especially if not on a completely fat surface. There are some people who are more than happy to balance precariously on the top of a telescopic ladder, with a brush in one hand, and a can of paint in the other.
