The show is watchable but a slow burn. The ending is satisfying if predictable. Whether you find this show worth watching will depend on your expectations and reason for watching in the first place. She decides to get through the difficult time together and teaches Akira everything so that he can live as a woman. Sonoko notices that she has been talking a lot more with Akira and once again realizes the importance of her husband in her life. Growing up, I loved Lizzy as a character. She and Jo from Little Women were strong female characters I looked up to. I'm not even that traditional, but nowadays I think I vibe a little more with Jane and Meg. None of this has anything to do with anything. Well, it might. Just As You Are is one of the mostgloriously queerthings I've ever read.
