Where It All Began: Upon verifying that Nobuto is actually dead, Matsuri heads to the apartment when he was fatally ambushed by Tetsuo, falling to his knees roughly where he guesses his body would have fallen to mourn his absent son in the closest possible form he has left. This pitiful display of genuine familial love spurns Tetsuo, who was hiding in the apartment as well, to reveal himself and admit his guilt to Matsuri, begging to be punished alone for the sin he committed against the other father. However, rather than accept that, Matsuri instead tries to make good on his threat to extend his revenge to Tetsuo's family, forcing a second fatal fight within the apartment. Batto', David J. Moral Myopia: Matsuri in spades. For one, he seeks to find those responsible for his son's disappearance with plans of killing them, yet he's perfectly fine with Nobuto having murdered several of his girlfriends as well as all his other crimes. Tetsuo even points this out to him, not that Matsuri seems to care considering he's just as if not more deranged than Nobuto.

When he is discovered by Nobuto, Tetsuo ends up killing him in the ensuing fight. Assisted by his wife, Tetsuo hides the body in fear of retaliation from the yakuza. To add to the misfortune of the Tosu family, Nobuto happens to be the son of the mafia's head. Considered to be prime suspects behind Nobuto's disappearance, Tetsuo and his wife will have to deploy all their ingenuity to protect their daughter from the yakuza and their ruthless investigation.

However, Nobuto was the only son of Yoshitatsu Matori, who runs a powerful yakuza branch in the city. While Tetsuo wishes to protect his family, he must now deal with Matori's men as they threaten his family to find out what happened to Nobuto.

This is also another plus for My Home Hero depicts of a realistic middle aged man, who, in the heat of the moment, killed a person, and needs to cover up his crime. The pace is almost agonizingly slow at times, My Home Hero is not a flashy series in any sense. what is depicted. My personal favorite character though is the mother. She is loyal and cares about her daughter as much as her husband. From the very beginning her trust in her husband is shown to be pretty high. She can think on her toes, but the author does not indulge in any superhuman feats - she is the same as her husband - someone who trusts her spouse, wants to protect her kid, and will do everything in her power to keep her family safe. The daughter is yet another great character - not because she is particualrly virtuous, though you can't really say she is a bad person in anyway, but because the story doesn't try to adjust her to the plot. It doesn't take her long to realize what her parents are doing for her and she reacts in kind. The rest of the cast is pretty fantastic too but its getting too long. The characters along with the plot are the strong points on this manga. Pineda, Rafael (June 19, 2022). "My Home Hero Manga Gets TV Anime". Anime News Network. Archived from the original on June 2, 2023 . Retrieved June 19, 2022. A exception to this is our protagonist, Tetsuo. He's a very well written character and has the most development of the cast as the story progresses and he become each time more and more decided to do anything for the well-being of his family, doesn't matter what it costs for others and himselfs, but all the while constantly being haunted by the sins he commited to do so.
