About this deal

At just 9.8kg, the Out N About Nipper Sport is so lightweight that it can be pushed one-handed while jogging. The foam handlebar provides a comfortable grip, but I’ve found that it does absorb water when it rains.

I think this Little Nipper Double makes my life easier as it fits through most doorways and that is not common for side by side prams. This allows both children to forward face without one needing to be behind the other. It's so easy to fold too, and will fit in almost any boot without the need to remove wheels etc. The Nipper Double has a reputation as an off-road buggy, and no wonder – its rear suspension and air-filled tyres make for a smooth ride over even the bumpiest woodland trail. But our tester found it equally well-suited to urban life, as the Out n About double buggy showed itself unfazed by school runs, park trips and errands in town.

The overall quality of the pushchair meant that I wouldn't need to worry about it breaking, it was a pleasure to use with my grandson. I used an Out nAbout Nipper Sport from birth - it's my only buggy. If you like running, it's a better model than the 360" - Mumsnet user, Cornishmumofone Combining style and sturdiness, the Mountain Buggy Terrain comes with both 12- and 16-inch air-filled wheels that can be interchanged depending on whether you’re running up muddy hills or jogging along smooth tarmac.

With large air-filled tyres, rear-wheel suspension and lightweight frames, running buggies are sturdier than regular pushchairs and offer a smooth journey for both runners and riders. Would I recommend the Out N About Nipper Sport V4 to parents? Absolutely. No, it’s not the smallest of buggies, it isn't compact when folded and likely won’t fit comfortably in your car boot unless you remove the front wheel first. But it’s more than fit for the purpose it was intended for and that’s running.

Out n About Nipper 360. I was still running with this with a giant 3 and a half year old sitting comfortably" - Mumsnet user, Seacow87 Our verdict Adjustable handlebars: It’s well worth looking for a pram that comes with an adjustable handlebar, especially if different family members will be running with it. You’ll want to experiment with different handlebar heights to find a comfortable running position. I thought this product was fantastic and my children really enjoyed travelling in it, it's lightweight, easy to use and comfy for the kids. I have tested this on a 18-month and 3-year-old and it has been just as easy to push around bearing in mind the weight difference of the kids! It won’t take a full supermarket shop, but should easily contain book bags, handbags and midweek pints of milk. The Nipper also comes with a large, effective rain cover as standard, which our tester found easy to use even in the most unexpected of downpours. How safe is the buggy? The one-hand recline is handy for dealing with snoozing babies mid-run and the supportive padded seat offers a smooth ride. It’s almost ready to go straight from the box as the seat comes attached to the frame but you’ll need to use a bike pump to inflate the wheels before popping them on the chassis. It’s pricey but it’s well engineered, extremely sturdy and very easy for runners and walkers to manoeuvre.

The handling of the pushchair is just so easy, I spend less time trying to lug it around and more time doing things I enjoy. Suitable from: Birth to 22kg (around four years) | Weight: 10.8kg | Folded dimensions: 88 x 60 x 44 cm | Harness type: 5-point | Adjustable handlebar: Yes What we like The seat is very comfortable, so much so that my daughter falls asleep in the buggy almost every time we use it. The removable seat liner is kept in place with Velcro strips. It's also very roomy so I can rest assured that it's big enough for her to grow into over the next couple of years. Weight: The lighter the overall weight of the pram, the easier it is to push, especially if you’re transporting an older child across uneven terrain. Look for a lightweight option with an aluminium frame. The latest instalment of Out N About’s popular three-wheel running buggy, the Nipper Sport V4 is one such example. Ideal for jogging enthusiasts and lovers of the great outdoors, it offers all parents need to stay active with their child in tow. How we tested the Out N About Nipper Sport V4

Whats not so good?

Take it slow: It’s best to start things off slowly and gradually increase your pace as you become more comfortable with running with your child in tow. I love our double Nipper and used it from newborn with the newborn insert. Be aware that as they are real tyres they can get punctures, so be prepared to have to fix them" - Mumsnet user, Postmanbear

Available in three colours; Jet, Poppy and Marine, there is something for everyone and if you’re looking for a lightweight stroller for holidays or just summer adventures, the Little Nipper is definitely worth a look! Shop the range here and let us know what you think. Running buggies are growing in popularity among active parents and it’s easy to see why. With a fixed front wheel, outstanding suspension and pneumatic, puncture-resistant tyres, running buggies are specially designed for physical activity, successfully absorbing impact as you run.It is very good value for money and will last until both children are old enough to not need a pram anymore. Some of the other prams I've tested will only last until maybe 2 years old and will then become very difficult to push and the seat unit will be too small (I have twins) but this is not the case with this pram. Shopping basket is very small so it would be good if it came with a bag hook of some kind. Tested by dad Dean Thompson for the M&B Awards 2016: I really liked this pram, it's nice and compact, folds in to one so is easier to put up and down, both seats recline, it's easy to push, it is reasonably priced and was comfy for older/taller children. It is also suitable from birth which means it could be the only pram you ever need to buy. The hoods come quite far over so can properly shade the children and seats. Suitable from: Birth to 22kg per seat (around four years) | Weight: 12.8kg | Folded dimensions: 71 x 36 x 79 cm (excluding wheels) | Harness type: 5-point | Adjustable handlebar: Yes What we like
