If you’ve never used a chainsaw before and are worried that this chainsaw will be hard for you to use, you needn’t have such fears. The Einhell features a tool-less chain tensioning that is easy to set up.

Modern unleaded petrol can go off in as little as 30 days. If you are storing the chainsaw for long periods, either run the engine dry of fuel or use 'Aspen 2' fuel to prevent the carburettor from getting clogged from congealed unleaded petrol. I started by using the chainsaw on some smaller branches and it whizzed through them in no time, so I then moved on to the larger trunks. Its 20” bar gives it the capability to cut through trunks that are roughly 40” in diameter if you do a cut on each side, so I was able to slice through even the largest of the mature trees that had toppled during Storm Arwen. It also comes with an air injection centrifugal air cleaning mechanism that reduces wear and tear. The mechanism also enables you to operate the machine for longer hours without any hitches. If you’re looking for the best petrol chainsaw for the money, there isn’t much better you can do than choose the Einhell. Why do we say that? Generally speaking, a petrol chainsaw is a very useful tool but it is also one of the more demanding tools. An average chainsaw like that requires a lot of attention in terms of maintenance. Fortunately, that isn't necessarily the case with McCulloch CS 42S. Though the model has quite a lot to offer in other departments, we would first like to focus on the question of maintenance.
This is partly down to how lightweight it is, meaning that it won’t leave you with aching arms. It may offer the same amount of power as the Hyundai, but it feels a little lighter. Its anti-vibration system also works well – you barely feel the chainsaw vibrating at all. It’s essential that you’re as comfortable as possible when using your chainsaw, to prevent accidents caused by fatigue. This chainsaw comes in at a pretty low price, especially when you compare it to some of the other options out there. However, Einhell is known for producing quality tools at affordable prices, so a budget-friendly cost is expected from the brand. The fact that this chainsaw is more than capable of carrying out the majority of tasks needed by the average home user, coupled with its high-quality Oregon bar and chain, makes it great value for money. The weight of the chainsaw will dictate the power to weight ratio of the chainsaw. A higher ratio will mean the weight doesn’t get in the way of the chainsaw’s power and that it can handle medium to heavy-duty cutting jobs.
