About this deal

As the name suggests, the DC12 has a maximum capacity of 12 litres per day. This makes it suitable for small homes or flats, but we wouldn't recommend it for houseswith more than three bedrooms.

If you have a big home and need faster water extraction than the average dehumidifier, then the Pro Breeze 30L could be the perfect option (replacing the EcoAir DC18 on this list). The Pro Breeze provides a whopping 30 litres per day maximum extraction rate, along with smart features and excellent performance. With a 10 litre capacity, the DD322 probably isn't powerful enough to be a whole home dehumidifier unless you have a maximum of 2-3 bedrooms. The good news is that it only weighs 8.5kg, so it's relatively easy to move between rooms when needed. It does, however, include an automatic mode that switches off the machine when the ambient humidity and temperature are at acceptable levels. This is a great time saver and can also reduce your energy bills.

You work at BID, what a legend.

The great thing about the DC12 is that, despite its compact design, it comes with a 3.5 litre water tank. This is significantly larger than many other dehumidifiers in its price range. If you want a machine that doesn't need to be emptied too often, the DC12 is a great choice. It's not all positive though. The DC202 is one of the loudest EcoAir dehumidifiers, so you probably won't want to use it in bedrooms. It's also one of the more expensive EcoAir machines. Manufacturerslistcapacity in litres of water extracted per day. While this is a useful way to compare models, it's actually the maximum extraction at ideal temperatures and humidities. In practice, the machine is unlikely to reach these values the vast majority of the time. Other features include an "overdry" protection mechanism, to stop the air getting too dry, and a spot function if you want to dry a specific area. It's also very quiet at just 34dB.

It's also fantastic at removing water from the air. As it's a desiccant model, it excels at room temperature or below. For drying out a few rooms at the same time, the DD322 Classic is an excellent option. Spending more money doesn't necessarily mean you're getting a higher quality dehumidifier. In many cases, more expensive models include extra features rather than an ability to extract water faster.Suitability - The EcoAir Summit S Dehumidifier is an excellent means of preventing mould, condensation, spores, fungi and bacteria growth. It's perfect for use in kitchens, basements, bathrooms, bedrooms, garages, etc. It works best at temperatures between 5 and 32 degrees Celsius. EcoAir produce a range of excellent dehumidifiers for the UK market. In fact, the company features five times on our list of the top 10 dehumidifiers - more than any other brand. I cannot speak highly enough of ECOAER and our experience with them. I would unreservedly and wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone considering installing a solar pv system.
