About this deal

Ride faster - feeling refreshed from the energy that is normally wasted suspending your body as it is converted into forward motion Some countries may incur VAT and Duty, please use a Duty Calculator and be prepared to pay these fees on arrival. It all started a couple of years ago when I started doing serious gravel riding events. Starting out on a full carbon cyclocross bike it soon became clear that the pounding my body was getting was becoming the limiting factor (maybe an age thing as well), after finishing the Dirty Reiver 200 km gravel event in Kielder forest in 2017 I started looking at all ways to limit the pain. Scottish Highlands - AB36-38, AB55-56, FK17-21, IV1-39, IV52-54, IV63, KW1-14, PA21-40, PH19-26, PH30-41, PH49-50

Installation was very easy, if you can fit a normal stem then the only thing to think about are the elastomers, I’m 70kg so went for the blue/orange set up which was already fitted. The instructions are very clear, in fact pretty much idiot proof so long as you read them properly (RTFI) Read The Flippin Instructions. Not sure what size seatpost you have currently? There are a couple different ways to find out.• Most seatposts have the diameter printed somewhere near the bottom of the post. You'll need to remove the seatpost from the bike frame (mark your existing seatpost height with a bit of tape before you remove it so you can replace it easily), and look for a number like 27.2, 30.9, or 31.6 (etc.). That is the diameter of the post. Includes 5 swappable elastomers (2 pre-installed, 3 additional) to customise the ride feel for your bike, weight, and riding style. Scottish Islands - HS1-9, IV40-51, IV55-56, KA27-28, KW15-17, PA20, PA41-49, PA60-78, PH42-44, ZE1-3 Please note, whilst we can Price Match the majority of products, sending this information does not guarantee a price match is viable. What is the answer? Well I went for a titanium frame, fatter tyres and the thought of suspension at the front. By the start of 2018 I had a near perfect build minus the front suspension. Alternate method: Use a fabric or paper measuring tape (or print one at https://printable-ruler.net/ ) and measure the circumference of the handlebar right next to your existing stem. I’ve covered 150 miles and about 15000 ft of climbing (as what goes up must come down, the same descent). Redshift have never claimed to be the inventor of a suspension stem, but they are certainly the most revolutionary. Many times have we heard people say:

Alternate method: Use a fabric or paper measuring tape (or print one at https://printable-ruler.net/ ) and measure the circumference of the steerer tube. You will need to remove the compression cap and loosen the two pinch bolts to get access to your steerer tube so be sure you are comfortable in doing so and then reassembling properly. Based on any other suspension device that I have ever owned I can only give this 10 out of 10 for its simplicity. Final summary + Pros and Cons If you want to jump to a certain point in the video - here is a list of links to each section on youtube: degree in 80, 90, 100, 110, and 120mm lengths (in both standard 1 1/8" steerer and oversized 1 1/4" steerer) Having your bike serviced? Upgrading? Have old parts taking up space in your garage? These guys are creative and innovative, even if parts are no longer fit for bikes, they will create something awesome!

Is the stem safe and how long will it last?

Well fortunately Redshift have updated the suspension stem for something more reliable, lightweight and adjustable. The Utility Mount puts a small section of tube in front of the stem that provides a location to mount anything you would normally put on your handlebar (bike computer, phone, light, etc.). If you are unable to measure the length of your existing stem then choose 100 mm. This is one of the most common lengths and tends to be a good fit for most people. To understand more, Redshift Sports have answered critics in this post. Will the stem bounce or flex when I am climbing out of the saddle or sprinting? You can measure the length of your existing stem as shown in the following picture. The length is measured from the center of the handlebar to the center of the steerer tube.
