About this deal

The kit comes with a 0.8Ω Mesh coil, ideally for MTL and also a 0.3Ω Mesh Z-Coil ideally for more of a Direct-Lung vape and has a 5.5ml capacity. The threading for the battery cap is nice and smooth and I’ve had no issues with the battery door at all. Externals:

With a fine-tuned airflow capable of precise air intake for both MTL (mouth-to-lung) and RDL (Restricted direct-to-lung) devices, the Zenith II tank reflects a similar style to the original Zenith but with a more contemporary yet minimalistic look. With a 2ml e-liquid capacity, and a simplistic twist to fill design, you can refill the Zenith 2 with your favourite juice with extreme ease. The standouts here are the FØ and Refresh modes, both of which were first introduced with the Sensis pod mod.The removable base of the Zenith 2 tank is nicely laser etched with the Platform Series logo and the designers Phil Busardo and Vaping Greek. Frequency of use: the frequency of use is a determining factor in the lifespan of your coil. A vaper using his electronic cigarette all day and every day will have to change coil more regularly. The Innokin Coolfire Z80 Zenith II kit offers a level of versatility that makes it easier than ever to discover your perfect vape. Powered by one 18650 battery (sold separately) that supports an output of up to 80W, the powerful device comes with the Zenith II tank, which can support the whole range of Zenith coils, meaning it’s able to accommodate a wide range of vape styles, from MTL (Mouth to Lung) to DTL (Direct to Lung) vaping.

For fun, I put the airflow slider up to the maximum and to be honest its way too much airflow for an MTL and probably not enough for a restrictive Direct Lung – Right in that awkward position. Innokin Coolfire Z80 Airflow

Stay Up To Date

The Zenith has five airflow holes, each with a diameter of 1 mm or so. One hole gives a smooth and slightly loose MTL draw. With it fully open, it will perform between a very loose MTL and a very restricted direct lung (DL) draw, depending on the coil used. A resistor is a consumable part of your electronic cigarette. Generally, an electronic cigarette coil should be replaced every one to three weeks. Several factors will influence how often you need to change it: The tank comes with two coils inside the box, and it is compatible with the full line of Z-coils. The two coils you get are the 0.8-ohm (MTL), and the 0.3-ohm (RDL).

Right at the bottom of ‘The Face’ of the Coolfire Z80 device is the USB-C port for charging and firmware upgrades. Both coils supplied in the kit are Kanthal mesh with the 0.3Ω being the Restricted Direct Lung coil recommended between 30 and 40 watts and the 0.8Ω being the Mouth-To-Lung coil recommended between 15 and 18 watts. How Does the Innokin Coolfire Z80 Kit Perform? Basic operation The design of the tank is simple but with some added design elements that make it stand out. It is a great tank for MTL users and has a nice amount of resistance to prevent accidental opening. The Innokin Zenith 2 Tankhas a slightly angled shape with a nut-like protrusion at the bottom, which adds a unique touch. The inner part is engraved, and there are no bright colors or anything flashy. The airflow is designed for RDL, with a range of hole sizes that can be adjusted by rotating a control from a tiny hole to a gaping one. The top part can be opened to change the glass, and the bottom part can be opened to change the coil. The coils are press-fit, so there is no need for screwing. The coils are differentiated by color, with a gold one for the RDL1 and an empty L1. The mesh coil has a noticeable diameter. Performance This setting may also benefit battery life as you are not always demanding the full capacity of the battery when firing. The tank I think is slightly flawed but superb anyway. It looks good, it’s a piece of quality craftsmanship, and they have made improvements from the original such as being able to remove the glass to clean it and making sure you can put your own 510 drip tip on it. You can use any of the z-coils range which gives lots of choice. The twist to fill works well and the airflow gives a very wide range of options to tailor your vape. If you liked the original Zenith, then you are going to love the Zenith 2 without a shadow of a doubt. I should, by the sound of it, adore this tank and I do, but it’s not quite perfect. It does MTL and RDL well, and the flavour from both coils with the kit is very good indeed. There’s a few other niggles I have with it, such as having to remove the drip tip to fill, plus it’s big for a 2ml tank (not Innokin’s fault though, that’s the TPD monster).I’m not a huge fan of the drip tips either but you can use your own. Admittedly these are just small things and I think it’s a delightful tank indeed, in fact I’d say this is THE best z-coil tank out there for me. The King is dead, long live the King.To set the airflow, just turn the airflow ring. There are three small holes for MTL and a slot for RDL vaping. The first hole is a tiny bit larger—I am guessing it is 0.8 mm and the other two are 0.6 mm. Note that the original Zenith and the Zenith Pro came with larger holes, so the Zenith II can get super tight if needed. And unlike the Zenith Pro, the slot on the II can be opened on its own, without using any of the smaller holes. As always – These are based on how I vape, how much I vape and my batteries, this may vary depending on your setup and requirements. Innokin Coolfire Z80 Durability
