About this deal

The four Effect footswitches along the bottom of the unit change their function according to the current Play Mode. Here, in Effect Board mode, the lower four footswitches engage and bypass four of the current patch’s six stompbox models.

Outside of the Play Modes, Zoom B6 features two separate inputs with an A/B switch on the reverse of the unit. Switch between two of your electric, piezo, upright or acoustic basses and change the impedance between 1M to 10M ohms to achieve the perfect sound for your bass type. Get lost in a world of amps, cabinets and effects This enables wireless control of the B6 from an iPhone/iPad using the iOS/iPadOS Handy Guitar Lab for B6 app. USB (Micro-B) port Connecting a computer makes the following possible. Impressively easy to use, bassists will be able to refine and jump between sounds effortlessly, making this compact reasonably priced multi-fx pedal a must-have. Key Features: And finally, with a patch built you can swipe down to the settings menus to rename and save it (although the default behaviour of the B6 is actually to auto‑save patches). You can also assign four effects in a patch to a specific front‑edge footswitch, although if you find yourself in a situation where individual effects need bypassing or enabling during a performance, building a separate patch is probably more sensible.Lastly, Looper mode does exactly what it says. Loop up to two hours directly onto an SD card to add layers and texture to your sound. Buskers or solo performers can use this to build a platform on which to create the rest of your song and using the built-in Rhythm patterns, you have your entire rhythm section inside of your B6. Synth and pitch-based effects have taken a step up IMO. I'm finding that I like them more and can do more with them. On the B3n, this category was a real struggle. The synth sounds I'm getting now on the B6 are so much better than the B3 or B3n.

Also will be experimenting with loops, to see if they can be saved via SD card and recalled on a patch-by-patch basis. You also get an onboard looper, along with 68 rhythm patterns to play along with, and up to 2 hours of recording time, or a 45-second looper without an SD card. Expansion & Connectivity Full Description View Full Description Build the foundation of your tone with four iconic DI models The unit is a bit over the top with the carbon-fibre styling, and I hope it’s a bit more durable than it feels - you will definitely want a screen protector and a padded bag for this. The power adapter feels a little brittle plugging in, and I am slightly concerned about the longevity of the DI out, but it is what it is,Premium FX: Continuing to push the boundaries of effects, the Zoom B6 comes with an impressive range of modelled classic and boutique stompboxes and hardware. Amp models, preamps and drives all sound improved: detail, depth, realism, feel. Things getting more realer. Some nice new additions to the preamps and amps that didn't exist on the B3n. Now swipe down on the touchscreen to the settings menus and select Change Amp/Effect. This will return you to the previous Effects Board patch display but now with a ‘swap’ icon on each of the six effects slots.

You should get an instant answer on whether your application has been successful, though in some rare cases Klarna or V12 may need to look at the application in more detail. Looper: I'm not a looper guy, but if you are and looper time/capacity matter to you, the SD card slot solves this problem As mentioned earlier, you can chain up to 6 effects, which includes the amp emulations. And Zoom has included a wealth of studio-quality effects and stompbox emulations for you to experiment with. Effects of note are the onboard synth bass, synth vocal bass and analogue style octave. Notable amp emulations include the Sunn (Sun CB) and the Polytone Combo, which is popular with double bass players. Wow, things have moved on since I last had a multi fx unit. There are all the standard presets to show you what it can do, most are useable but some are a bit “fun”. The real depth is when you get in and effectively build multiple pedal boards per bank. The IRs are really good, there probably are better ones out there but they’ll do for me. If I have to moan, the compressors are a bit hit and miss as there’s no indication of the amount of gain reduction being achieved. Yeah yeah use your ears, I know, but it would be nice to be able to dial that in.IMO, pretty much everything about the B6 is a better than the B3n. Unless you're fully wedded to the WYSIWYG stomp switches and knobs legacy design (in which case the G11 would suit you better...for a jump in cost), there's almost nothing I prefer on the B3n vs. the B6. B3n is smaller, if that matters. Both require a little tap-dancing to switch their "play modes" from stomp mode to bank/patch to memory. This could be improved for the B6. The menu and touch screen seem a bit in depth at first but you soon get used to it. The display is brilliant - not too bright but even easy for me to see during a show with my ancient old eyes! Silent running? Well that depends. My upper frequency detection system has been lost or replaced with some tinnitus so I simply don't hear the highest noise. A worlds first, the Handy Guitar Lab for B6 provides accessibility for the visually impaired, featuring VoiceOver and VoiceOver Gestures to build your patches and sounds with only your voice, no other equipment necessary! Be ready for any situation with flexible performance modes Maximum output level: Line +11.4 dBu (when 10 kΩ or more output impedance)/Phones 24 mW + 24 mW (32 Ω load)

Even though it would eat up 2 slots, it would be great if it worked, to be able to have the ability to wet/dry mix between 4 other effects - mainly OD and compression. Ideally, though, I'd like to be comfortable with the B6 for all occasions, so I'm hoping the new models and other improvements impress. The available effect types include various bass effects and amp/cabinet simulation models. Effects can be selected from these types to be added to patch memories. CategoryWith the B6 in Bank/Patch mode, select an empty effects slot and then switch to Effects Board mode. The touchscreen will display six instances of the bypass ‘effect’. Elsewhere on the B6 you’ll find an onboard SD/SDX card slot for recording and an integrated USB audio interface to record straight to your DAW of choice. There is also an external expression pedal input, plus an optional Bluetooth BTA-1 expansion port for wireless control of the B6 unit via the dedicated Guitar Lab app and the obligatory effects loop, which allows you to integrate your favourite pedals. Price Portable music player, etc. Adjust the volume on the connected device. SD card Use an SD card to save loops and increase loop recording time.
